I would absolutely save that pulley. I do a lot of repairs on the fly for myself and neighbors. I live a ways out out of town so running to grab a part really quick isn't a thing here.
The belt only runs these two pullies and the transaxle. With the clutch in, spin these pullies and see if they are noisy, check the condition of the belt, then spin the transaxle pully. I hope it's something simple and easy.

When i release the clutch on my LA125 I am getting a knocking noise, never before though. Thoughts?
