A Chat with... Lucas LaRochelle, Founder of Queering The Map

Lucas LaRochelle founded Queering The Map, an online platform that started in 2017 with the question, “What makes a space LGBTQIA+ friendly?”
In cities, queer spaces are often confined to certain neighborhoods or venues: Lucas wanted to expand these spaces online by collecting over 850,000 stories from queer people all around the world. Each user can share their preferred testimony, and over the years, the platform has come to contain a variety of them, from the most touching to funny anecdotes to accounts of the historical moments we are living in.
