- Swati Maliwal Case Latest News: AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal said on Thursday that she has given her statement to Delhi Police in connection with the alleged assault on her at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's official residence on Monday.
"What happened to me was very bad. I have given my statement to the police on the incident that happened to me. I hope that appropriate action will be taken. The last few days have been very difficult for me. I thank those who prayed for me. Those who tried to do character assassination, may God keep them happy too," Ms Maliwal, the former chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), wrote in a post on X.

BJP does not need Swati Maliwal's approval to highlight her case. It is a national issue. Opposition will politicize such cases when it happens in BJP ruled states. When it happens there the case must be investigated by CBI, SIT, court monitored and so on. Here it is a internal matter.
No party or court or police has right to investigate swathi case. Since it is internal parry matter & kejrival will give justice after enquiry. In fact it was mistake of swathi, being an humble aap worker, she should resigned her raajyasabha mp post to placate Abhishek Manu singvi as raajyasabha member, since he is an famous lawyer & fighting for aap party as well as got bail to kejrival .
