    Had a good batch of fish from hartly there at night, one of my favourite marks. You should have gotten yourself away into the battery there.... I'm itching for a look inside my self 😅

      Yeah decent mark on its day isn’t it. The battery??

      @fullcircleangling search Roberts Battery here on UA-cam, it's under the campsite on the cliff in between Hartly and Colly, WW2 bunker that's accessible from the cliff face 👍🏻

    I seen you that day, I was on the other side of Hartley island looking for peeler and lobster. Is it easier going down the way you went to the mark or taking the stairs and walking up the skeer? Love rough grounds videos. Can't wait to see more. You should try northside, which is the skeer on the right side of Hartley island, casting towards the lighthouse. My favourite spot. Very busy in the winter though.

      Cheers Tony, ah ok, it was a huge tide wasn’t it. I went down the Colywell way next to the Devils Hole. It’s quite a direct route but the rocks and boulders can be tricky. Thanks for watching, plenty more to come👍

    Hi mate , If using a multiplier which mainline do you use and when it comes to rig body and hook length with rotten bottom ?any advice appreciated

    • @fullcircleangling
      @fullcircleangling  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Jordan. Mainline I use is 40lb Berkeley Trilene, it has the same diameter as normal 30lb line but is that bit stronger.
      Rig body I use Asso 80lb sometimes straight through for a pulley rig with just a crimp creating the pulley system if that makes sense - happy to do a video if you lie. Or,if you like to have a swivel in the pulley, I opt for 50lb amnesia.
      Hopefully that helps you mate?

      That’s spot on david thank you , I been using fixed spool with braid but I prefer multi and mono so going back to that cheers for advice

    Do you never use fixedspool and braid in the heavy ground ?

    • @fullcircleangling
      @fullcircleangling  2 роки тому

      Yeah mainly in the winter in the dark. I’ve got a Bullseye and Aero Tech which I use. For some reason I just still like using a multiplier quite a bit, old school.
      Have you been out much?

    • @stephenharper8488
      @stephenharper8488 2 роки тому

      The bullseye look a canny reel I have a power Areo. I have been to Silloth most weekends for the hounds. Had some canny ones

      @fullcircleangling  2 роки тому

      @@stephenharper8488 spot on sounds good. I’ll have to get over there. Have you had any bother with the weed? It’s been horrendous every time I’ve been over.
      The gearing is 3.5:1 so the torque is really good for braid and rough ground. Line lay isn’t a patch on the Power Aeros and Aero Technium’s though.
