I've had an exedy hyper single in my boss 302 since before they were on the market. I got it through Dean as well. It's still holding up and shifting flawless.
@@Linknelson yes, a great option. Yet, i already have a mgw/one piece drive shaft and exedy hyper single. Also considering the nvh of the tremec swap. I went calimer
@ yeah man, either way cool that you do did it and getting out of the MT82. I was watching one of your videos where you advised to track your Boss initially with the stock tires so you know where you stand. I always thought if I got one, I’d want to put GT350 R wheels on it, which are considerably wider. So you think those would be mainly for looks and too much grip for the car? Could always swap the tires for track day if that’s the case.
@ well you can grow into them, yet you need a proper suspension setup to handle the increased grip to avoid the trophy truck feel. Vorshlag or Cortex are great companies to help. I run a 500lb front and 350lb rear with a 18mm sway on 19x11 315s
@ right on, yeah your wheels looked good. What do you mean the trophy truck feel? Man, I’d have a lot to learn before I get on the track. But that’s what I’d like to do when I get there.
🔥🔥🔥
Your Boss sounds brutal! Love it! I was considering the Calimer route myself

I still have my stage 3 sitting in my garage waiting for the OEM one to spontaneously explode 😂
@@BrailsfordsRides stage 3 should be bullit proof!
@@high_velocity_stangs I hope so
I read where someone did a tremec swap. Did you consider the tremec at all?

@ too much grip without enough stiffness(good shock/spring combo).. it will over rotate making it drive like a trophy truck(body roll).
