Amazing example of gravity assists! But poor Jeb... 89 years in that can! That's a lot of wet wipes to keep fresh!
Imagine having to do 2 excruciating flybys of your home planet after 84 years of space travel and knowing you've got 5 more years to look forward to
Jeb's just happy to be included
is it really 84 years though? Relative to what lol....
What do you mean relative to what. Time goes the same Speed. Unless you're near a Black hole or if you're going the Speed of light which Is impossible in ksp. So i Is 84t@@Swampthing401
Shut up Jeb we've discussed this before 😂
@@Ruffles_Is_Fast I assume they mean Kerbin years vs Earth years. If I did my math right, this "only" took about 26 Earth years.
And after 89 years in space, Jeb hops out of the capsule only to be mauled and killed by a bear.
An exploding bear. It's Jeb after all.
Shoulda brought an anti-bear shotgun
Classic Jeb.
@@SamanthaLaurierit brought an anti-shotgun bear
Paige: you gotta get to 10,000m, ok Jeb.
Jeb: Eeloo? Aright.
This is the “cross country road trip in a falling apart 1998 Honda Civic” of space flight
When you have more gravity assists than parts on your rocket /s
Here I am, proud of landing a dinky little craft on the Mun, and this OTHER MATT comes along to make me feel like a blundering fool
That was a perfect ablative 'heat shield'!
Ablative spacecraft!
It's always nice to have a small music video before watching the 40 minutes long video
Jedediah is such a BEAST of a pilot!
That's a whole lot of science for a rocket that didn't even have a Science Jr. on board 😅
Awesome video! The gravity assists really did a lot of work. It's a good thing Kerbals are immortal.
Just awesome !
That spaceman Jeb sure had a trip.
Ps : great soundtrack !
Nice choice of song
I do love me some of The Divine Comedy, good music choice Matt
This is advanced level of gravity assists
The fact that you always make getting these maneuvers and playing this game so easy makes me wanna play more
A perfectly well executed KSP video. Why do you keep this unlisted? You can make it public and turn off subscriber notification if you think it's "too low effort" for your channel or something. Still deserves to be searchable IMO.
He used to. It’s because he’s had copyright strike issues in the past that he doesn’t do it anymore.
@@bob38028 You mean the music? Yea, that's probably copyrighted. You can't reupload someone else's music without permission similar to how you can't reupload someone else's video. Same copyright. Not sure if this video wouldn't be as great with permitted music tracks.
You madlad, you've done it!
Matt, you can always make the impossible possible while making it entertaining. Good job 👍
Very fitting music! Probably only marginally slower than a national express ticket.
That was great, I would love these more often!
Thank you for this version. I'll watch the big one during my next bath time 😂🥸❤️
I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS TYPE OF VIDEO TODAY!
Matt really just flexed on all of us lmao
He had to! Nate Simpson threw down the gauntlet!
Sooo… 89 years huh!?… glad the Kerbals are immortal 😅 unless you sent him up as a baby and he finally came back an old man 😮 in either case, hope their bones don’t degrade in space like ours do!… do they even have bones? 🤔
Really enjoyed that video! The music was awesome too
one of the best channels on this platform
great video alongside the long form! Love a warm up haha😂
I wonder if in the future no tech interstellar travel would be possible that would be funny to watch
Oh I’m sure mat is already thinking about it
4:10 everything is an ablative heat shield if you're brave enough
Brilliant music selection. Also, well done on the No Tech to Eeloo. But mainly, the music. Awesome.
Great song choice, and great video! The Divine Comedy is great.
Science points be wildin
The madman actually did it!
Good job Matt! You just gave us no reason to fail ever at this game again!🤣
That was awesome!
Epic music choice for an epic video Matt..🤣
89 years of, I assume, feasting on the remains of the kraken…
87 kerbal years to complete the mission! Nice.
Shots fired
Next challenge: no-tech Jool-5
Ah Classic Old mattlowne i like it! 👍👍
Superb
He kept his promise...
that was awesome
Shout out to Jeb who sacrificed 89 years of his life for a 5 minute video
No! (No!) Tech! (Tech!) to Eeloo!
"Pa-pa-para, paaaa-ra-pa-ra!
Pa-pa-para, paaaa-ra-pa-ra!
Pa-pa-para, paaaa-ra-pa-ra!....."
🎵🎶🎼🎵🎶🎼🎵🎶
oh for goodness sakess
long time not heard that song, its nice
Awesome stuff Matt, you are truly the master of gravity assists :-) Minimal really is the way to go in KSP2 as sadly FPS drops directly in proportion to the number of parts used :-(
ive got over 130 hours in KSP 1 and this is the first ksp2 video ive ever watched, and it was glorious
😂 130 hours 😂
Well, that was a soundtrack that's going to confuse any non-UK viewers... brilliant piece of music.
You can get anywhere with anything. Just depends on getting back.
Very cool
Nice one, you surely the best, but could u realise the landing and return from Eve with 10 kerbals with the minimum amount of science tree unlocked ??? Since im playing the exploration mode i cant wait for your video about it to come out
only 87 years later
Hii I love your channel.
Wow! Only took 54 years!
Impressive.
jeb is passed retirement age
sick
I wish you had used No Sleep Till Brooklynn
At least the way home was 19 years shorter.
90 years...
Great job, Matt!
Please do a gravity assist tutorial sometime if you haven't already. I don't quite understand how you lined all those up.
That was a long trip. So what I want to know is, how many times did Jeb have to drink the same cup of coffee?
Coverage of Odysseus? NASA coverage ended with a yay but no confirmed landing.
OK, but how did you attach all those boosters radially without a radial decoupler?
Yeah, cool. 😊
there is only one more thing I want to see: no tech to eve landing and back
it's mind blowing to me that this is possible lol
Tech? Who needs tech?
This video makes me realize how bad at KSP I truly am. It must be like guitar players listening to Hendrix
Matt what have you done
Matt should apply to NASA 🤌
This would be great with commentary
Its weird not hearing Matt's voice in the background
🚀
yea
No-Tech and Low-Tech rhyme.
mmm nice
sweet
and after 89 years in space you come back to find out 15 other people beat you there and back cause a better rocket was developed after you left
Dang I wish I was as good at this game as you are I can’t even land on the Mun 😔
what was the total mission duration in years? just asking...
Only real KSP fans would watch this video fr
Is that a bug on 35 sec mark were the Delta V is 0 but you had full fuel?
I might be mishearing it, but I hear the song as "Nashville hates my ass" 💀
National express
Now do this in ksp 1 (DLC allowed)
how many days was the journey?
I was wondering why there was a Wednesday video, just a music video for an already made video.
Who else, but Matthew Lownethan...
whats next no tech to the suns of far far away lolz 🤣
How are the comments 1 month ago and the video is from today 💀
Hey Matt why not try and make an ssto mission in ksp 2 🙂
Lol! What software are you using to calculate >9 assists?
In Matt lowne's case, lots of trial and error and experience from KSP 1
Missed the runway.
