As someone who grew up privileged I concur with this message. I've been through lots of depression in the past but managed to overcome that in the last few years. These days I struggle with overcoming having no drive to do activism. Coddling and spoiling kids results in spiritual and emotional retardation.

Every day for a few seconds I have no drive then I realise I feel like an absolute beta if I’m not out there doing something to help Mother Nature. When I help the environment no matter how small I feel sigma. When I’m not then I feel beta.

I work at a juice company.
They (as in the customers, mostly the big supermarkets) are fussy about best before dates to the point they have a minimum shelf life, it's always over a month.
The amount of Fruit Drink that ends up in the bin when it should be going to charities is shameful.
I've even tried juice that is close to or past it's best before date (which is just an educated guess anyway)
Just give it the sniff test and if smells ok, it is ok.
