I’m decluttering my whole house now and love these tips. I’ve got my organizational routine down pat and 3 great donation sites, a consignment store and a small trailer to haul stuff to the dump. One thing I practice too is if I’m shopping and like something I pause and tell myself not now, and that it will be there if I really want to go get it another time. I’m saving a lot of money and stress with this self talk. Another thing I call my nighttime routine “putting my house to bed” and I really sleep better knowing my house will be tidy to wake up to. I’ve been retired 2 years and will be down sizing so I’m really sticking to my plan. Hubby and I have over 40 years of stuff to go through and it is not easy. AND our kids do not want any of it.
Ive sold ive donated top to bottom right to left set timers make schedule moved closets found my color season to getrid of every color rhats not my color . Figure out my body type and face shape got rid of every belt hair tie shoes every article of clothing that was out of style not my color or shape too big too small. I found the jewelry that works best with my face body ect.
My SIL used to give me knick knacks, even when I told her I have no spot or use for it. She just made a spot. It was quite menagerie of useless stuff I ended up dusting and one day I just put it all in the trash. She never said a word and never gave me anything else.
I am dumbfounded by all the videos where women are the sole house keepers in their home. I live alone, so there's not a reason for resentments to slowly build.
Some great tips, but i am cringing at the constant water running in all these clips! Seriously, its a precious resource just because you have the privilege of running water doesn’t mean you need to simply let it run down the drain 😪😡🤬
It's not as extreme as you suggest. There are a couple of stills of water running and a couple of video clips of washing up under a running tap. If you're in the UK like me, you don't wash up under a running tap, but Americans do. If you ever watch videos looking at differences between the two countries, this is something that comes up regularly. I hate to waste water because it is precious and the more I use, the more it costs me!
@@livingyourlifechannel nothing, I guess. I hear it all the time in decluttering videos, that flat surfaces tend to collect clutter. I can’t imagine what other kind of surfaces would be able to do that. 🤨
What they mean by flat surfaces is to keep tables, countertops and any other surfaces clear, clean & tidy with minimum stuff on top. This way the place looks much more pleasant.
@@ورودونعيم Indeed, but is there really any point to specify “flat surfaces” should be kept clutter free? What other kind of “surfaces” are there? Basically this means that in order to declutter your home, you should keep your home clutter-free 🤓

Wow, Nancy this so much inspiring to read. You definitely have been doing what works for you and your family. Happy decluttering and organizing!

Sounds great!
Some great tips.
Glad it was helpful!
Great helpful ideas...thank you❤
You're welcome. Appreciate it.
Caution about immediately washing a hot pan once you're done cooking. It can warp if you don't let it cool some.
Exactly. Plus you need to get rid of fat and not put it down the sink which creates work further on.

It's good to sit down with our loved ones to explain why we do things. Open communication helps to avoid conflict. Happy organizing.
Love the aesthetics in this video.
Thank you!
you need the motivation to do anything
This channel is really good!! I am getting great tips here 😊
Aww.. Thanks for your kind words. Glad to know it's helpful.
Saoking dishes for a short time allows the soap to work so there is less scrubbing needed
Good point!
Good tips
Thank you for your feedback ❤️
Running water is lack ofvtraining. I would never NOT soak while im cooking. Makes things SO much easier.
Never not I think is a double negative
I learned the soaking pots and pans while eating trick from my MIL in 1970. Saves much scrubbing!
if you have stuff every week that can be donated, then you have a serious problem in your buying behavior you should change immediately...
Right! You'll be surprise some people are like this.
Guilty here !
Nice ❤
Thank you ❤️

O am fed up cleaning my family mess
You can do it!
Spring is here waiting for you to go outside. Just do some basics and get out and have fun while it lasts.
That's the way to do it!

I know I’m a bit deaf but I cannot hear this at all 🤔
I'm not deaf and I don't know what water you're talking about. I've turned my volume all the way up and can't hear any running water. 🤔
@@kimhr1069 did you SEE the running water? I never mentioned hearing it.
@Ana-Conda watch the clips, taps turnedon and running

How many dish cloths do we need at home?
❤
❤️❤️❤️
good suggestions but most are not 1 minute
Yes. No job goes straightforwardly
Too many pillows drives me crazy.
Totally agree with this!
I will never understand that as long as I live. I don’t understand why people need 12 pillows on their bed.
I like having 2 or 3 throw pillows on each bed. It makes me feel blessed. While raising 8 children, there was no extra money for such luxuries. 😊
Flat surfaces 😆 as opposed to the vertical ones?
Also, plastic bags don’t belong in the recycle bin 😕
Sorry what was said incorrectly about flat surfaces in the video?
