I love my traveler. One thing I don't like is that the lid doesn't like to stay closed when the grates are fitted and you're dragging it accross uneven ground.
I got mine when they were first released and love the functionality and portability. My only complaint is that the small gas bottles are difficult to screw onto the grill. The location is very uncomfortable and I have to literally sit down on the ground to screw in the bottle. I almost cross threaded it several times and I will surely need to replace the part where the bottle screws into sooner or later because of damage to the threads. Other than that, this is a great grill that I highly recommend.
Tom, thanks for your awesome reviews. I just watched this and your recent review of the $199 nexgrill 4 burner. Do you think this portable grill could serve as my fulltime grill on my apartment patio? I'm somewhat leaning towards this over the nexgrill for ease of movability (as I'm in an apartment that I won't be in forever). The added benefit of being able to take it to the park, tailgaiting, or car camping would also be nice! However, it does seem the nexgrill would be superior 'permanent' grilling.
After tons of procrastination, mostly about the cost, I purchased one of these. My only regret is that I took so long to buy it. I also bought a case of beer for the assembly process. Assembly is a breeze, put the axle and wheels on, put in the grills, your done! Used the beer to celebrate instead of relaxing frustration. 😂
Great video Tom . I bought the Napoleon TravelQ Pro 285 because it has two burners. Don't know why Weber are so dumb with their gas grill,,,,. For charcoal , go with Weber , for gas , go with Napoleon.
hands down, weber is the way to go. i skimped out on a coleman due to it being 140, after 2 years i gave it away becauuse it was about to break down, ponied up and bought the weber
Hey Tom, I need a part for my webber kettle, one similar to the double sided table red one show in your videos. More specifically, one of the insertable plastic leg levelers. Any suggestions?
I saw this last week in a local store... It was far too big for me, but the compact was just perfect and still lots of room to cook. I did not care for the red one and it was $679.00 Canadian funds.. the black compact model was $469.00 Canadian funds... I didn't buy one yet... as a two burner Monument in red is now on sale for $299.00 Canadian though it is not a travel grill... I am just mixed up as to what to buy for my small space in a condo with a deck.
Wow!…ok, I have had and posted videos with the Q-series, not even worth comparing, did you watch the video? That why even Weber doesn’t compare… they aren’t even close and I didn’t mention Q-series at all……
Great 3 year review…..webers best portable gas grill by far! I did spend the extra $50 for the red….not sorry at all!!! GO FOR IT, TOM!!!
Thanks for watching Robert!

Just bought one at Canadian Tire (full 500$ Canadian). Cute thing!
Thanks for Watching! Enjoy!
And yes, I would have preferred to get the red one, but at 80$ (Canadian $) more, that was too steep a price for me.
