- After 27 years, John and Reva Walsh learned who murdered their 6-year-old son, Adam. Police say pedophile Otis Toole committed the crime and died in prison 12 years ago. Kelly Cobiella reports.
I lived in Hollywood fla when that happened I just couldn’t image what John and reva went through back then! And all these yrs!!!!
I visited hollywood afew yrs after that. It was strange being in that mall. I felt so awful for that family.

How do you lose a whole car?! I was 5 yrs old in Florida when this happened and it was devastating to know what happened to him. Its still painful to hear and I try not to visualize it. Thank God Im assuming he was already in jail for someother crime since he died 12 yrs earlier.
HOW could they lose evidence? HOW could they lose a car? The fact that they will maintain silence says it all... they're mostly inept, incompetent and malfeasant seems to ring a familiar bell. They EFFED up, plain and simple. That's how they cover-up... "Sorry, we're not at liberty to respond... or we might get one of our own in deep doodoo."
I dont know what its like to lose a child but i feel pain for the family even thou its closure they still didnt get there answer is why the man who killed this little boy didn't have to go as far as no respect to anyone but cut off his head he could of let the boy live what a coward but iam thankfull that the walsh family has a chance to go on with there life but little Walsh helped them to find his killer now he can be at rest
The saddest thing about this is the whole "cost of living going down thing" that hasn't been a thing in like 40 years

My mom did worse than Adam's mom. She'd let me and my brother walk to the pool when we were 4 and 6, four blocks away. Plus she'd always let us go look at the toys while she went off and did her shopping. She was so lazy she wouldn't even come get us when she was ready to check out. I look back and think how lucky we were that something didn't happen to us. This was just an awful terrible tragedy.

It was back in the 1980's, and it probably never crossed her mind. I am not making excuses for her, because I would never do that. However, after that crime, I am sure most parents would think twice about leaving anyone under the age of 16, alone, in a mall, or public area. Last, I am sure they (John + Reva) have had their discussions about what happened, and I am sure she must feel a horrible sense of guilt that she will have to live with the rest of her life.

My brothers,sisters,and I were born in late 50s & early 60s and our parents never let us go anywhere alone while we were kids. There's always a sicko somewhere smh

And far as the police and the investigation on this case should be ashamed of them selves if it was there kids they would of caught the killer so they were very unconcern for the family and specially for this little boy if they would look closer to this case i believe he still would be here and losing a vehicle where could it go its not a hard object to find it should of been impounded and the rug should of been with the file of little Walsh how many more cases that they looked into and missed something on another missing child
The only person that is responsible for what happened to Adam is his mother

I went to Walsh Christie Baby Einstein producer and Volvo for help with some inventions me and my Now Ex created and he and his people took all the credit and got paid millions while Me and my Family got absolutely nothing for it and Sorry at such a great time for you I truly am glad you got Justice in a way but I want Justice too. I want the compensation me and my family deserve!
