- King of Bhutan Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck landed in Assam’s Guwahati on November 03. He was welcomed by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at the airport. The Bhutanese King is on a week-long official visit to India from November 3 to 10. He is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Modi, EAM S Jaishankar, and other senior officials.
