Naptural85 Not Natural85 lol good video.
What was the name of the conditioner? You
kept moving that conditioner around, and it was too small for me to read !
Sanctuary sounds nice, I love jasmine
Dont feel bad! I was my Mommy's caregiver and 7 months into my first pregnancy, she passed. I had my hair in twists (no extensions) for a similar amount of time. Baby girl is 4 months and I'm still gradually detangling. Life happens. Emotions and depression happen. It's okay. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
I'm so sorry for your loss, I wish you and your daughter the best❤
Sending love ur way grief whew I feel u . You are doing good mommy !!!
@@vxlley_flower5672 thank you for your kind words and well wishes 🙏🏿❤
@@ladiepink thank you and I'm sorry for your loss(es) as well. Sending love your way 🙏🏿❤
Sorry for your loss
I have been wearing scarfs and I haven't done my hair for six months due to depression. Sometimes it's better to just lessen any manipulation so you can function.
Sorry you’ve been going through depression sis😢. Are you in a better space?
How are you doing now have you seemed out help for yourself darling. Xx
Girl despite it being 8 months your hair is still gorgeous.
Your hair keeps getting fuller and healthier each passion twist take down! Not going to lie I'm too lazy to install twists into my hair each month so I love your dedication of your reinstallments!
Also, Naptural85 is the goat!! I'll hope into her products soon!
If this deep conditioner is anything like the Melanin Haircare style cream, I KNOW it's good! And I know many viewers have said it, but I really think locs would fit your lifestyle. There's a lot of freedom in having them and they're still versatile. Wish I wouldn't have waited so long to start mine.
Well, not everyone is a fan of locs. Some people find it boring
If only one can have locs n be fluffy too
I combed my locs out during the pandemic. It’s easier for me to 2-strand twist loose hair than to retwist locs.
I wash my hair every 2-3 weeks and I feel a huge difference when I deep condition. It's really worth the extra step.
Every 2-3 weeks?
@@veronicafoxx27 Some people's scalps work better when they wash it less often especially on more coily hair types that find it more difficult to retian its oils 🤷🏾♀️. I get ecxcema *everywhere* including my scalp so washing it less often prevents it from drying out.
@@veronicafoxx27 For me washing my hair every 2 weeks. Washing my hair every week or even 2x a week would never work because of time and also it would actually make my hair drier. And for me, dry equals dandruff and flakes.
@@silentaria3241 there is definitely a way to keep it clean weekly and keep it from being dry. You should look up syddin pretty on UA-cam. I've been following her and my hair is getting so much better. I was natural for years but it's so freeing to manage my hair and have it stay healthy, pretty and smell fantastic. Not to say that yours doesn't, just another option. God Bless.
@@silentaria3241 ua-cam.com/video/MOOuHPUpJ1o/v-deo.html
That's amazing! I think your hair looks really healthy for being up for 8 months and your hair didn't loc together, impressive! I am currently locing my hair because I was only wearing my hair in braids for 3- 5 months at a time then taking them out and repeating the process. This is the first time since having natural hair that I have actually loved my hair and wasn't constantly freaking out about it. Good luck to you and fluff nugget!
We only realize how long our hair got after taking it out of a protective style. The inches add up. Your journey is going great. I’m enjoying the videos.
I truly feel as if she would love locs. It’s it a constant style whether u get 2 strand twist or comb coils. Then once the hair starts loc’ing up all u need to do nd maintain moisture wit barely any products nd u can retwist wit gel, oil, water only, grease, nd loc’ing pomades. Also wit locs u can get many different types of locs, sister locs, micro locs, small locs, medium sized, or thick locs. Plus u always hve the option of interlocking ur hair using a 3poin, 4point, & 2point method. U can also crotchet the hair wit a crotchet needle to instantly loc the hair & roots automatically.
I just started my locs in July, and I am loving the process so far! There is no huge takedown or installation on an ongoing basis, which is perfect for me! I alternate between 3 point and 4 point interlocking, depends on the amount of growth honestly
I’ve had locs for 10 1/2 years. I’ll never go back to loose natural hair. Locs are just too easy. My hair grew to waist length twice (since got my second haircut) in that time with minimal effort.
Your hair looks great. I think the passion twists might be boring to you but they clearly help your hair and whatever minimal maintenance you're doing is enough. Live and let live. Fluff nugget is thriving.
I know I’m late to watching, but I’ve been a lazy and sometimes neglectful natural for most of my 42 years.. and my hair has thrived when I leave it alone. I am now raising my daughter who has hair texture like u and I hve found low manipulation to her hair helps her hair thrive as well..girl we all go through stuff, there is never any judgment.. lov ur videos
Fluffnugget is getting longer!!!👏👏👏👏 I wish you would continue the video to see a blow out to see the length. She look fantastic!!!! Have a bless day everyone!!!!
These voiceovers were medicinal to my ears. 🥰
I love Melanin haircare. I just need her to come out with a gel, and I'm set. I don't use the leave in because I don't really need it (my husband loves it for his hair), but this deep condition is perfection. I was scared because it didn't look very thick but I ended up using very little. Utll last me a while even though I deep condition every two weeks.
Omg i am waiting for the gel as well. I know she has something 🤔😖 in the works!
The take down jam is still a vibe.
‼️Hyaluronic acid works by drawing moisture from the environment. So if you live in a place where it's really dry and not humid especially as you're going into winter (heating really removes moisture from the air) and there isn't enough humidity in the environment it will start to draw moisture OUT of your skin or OUT of the hair follicles instead of drawing moisture TO your skin and hair. So I would suggest not using hyaluronic acid if you live in a place that's really dry or in the winter if you don't have a humidifier. If you live in some place with high humidity year round like Florida or Louisiana it works great though
Yep, I learned that lesson with glycerin. I live in Texas on the Gulf. It's always humid here. But I'm from Indiana and I went home for Christmas a few yrs back when I was just beginning my DIY journey. I had glycerin in my homemade leave-in and my hair was a dry mess the whole 2 weeks I was there. I had to moisturize it daily, but at home I only moisturize wash day and it stays moisturized until the next wash day. I can go up to 3 weeks between washes and my hair's still nice and moisturized when I take my twists down. But up there?!? Hot mess! I learned more about ingredients and what to use when and where and now I make a specific leave-in to use before I go home to visit and my hair lasts the entire time, even if I go somewhere fancy and lets my twists down and retwist I don't have to remoisturize. I just look at it as a lesson learned and I don't repeat that mistake anymore.
That's statement is not true!!!! This is NOT how hyaluronic acid and glycerine works at all!!!! It only draws in moisture during the application of the product. Once the hair is dried this mechanism stops.
@@Nille0212 good thing you were only there for two weeks! I had no idea glycerin did the same thing! Thank you for the information! I didn't know about the hyaluronic acid until just recently either and I always use to slather that all over my face luckily for me my state is pretty humid most of the time so I don't think it actually caused issues but I feel like if I would have used it during the winter or kept using it this winter it really would have dried out my skin and hair! Hopefully she lives in a humid state! It usually seems kind of cloudy outside when she films so hopefully it's like a really rainy State like Oregon or something.
@@WhitneyDahlin yeah, if I was staying longer than 2 weeks I would've had to wash my hair while I was there and use store bought products. It was so irritating lol. I know for a fact that glycerin continues to draw moisture from the air as its in your hair and not just at application. If I go down to the beach and have any trace in my hair, it's super moisturized and will start to frizz. But if I don't, my hair stays defined much better. I learned from research and experience.
I think she lives in Atlanta if I'm not mistaken. Don't quote me on that, but I know it's GA for sure.
Your hair looks lovely. What did you do to maintain your hair for in twists for 8 months? Your hair didn’t look like it was in for 8 months when you took out your twists no build up or dry scalp. You are doing a great job with your hair 😊
Girl your hair is gorgeous it's so thick and beautiful !!
Glad to see you back and with replenished energy Danielle. Keep going still loving your content and fluff nugget 💜
your hair looks AMAZING!!
Your videos are so entertaining 😍
Thank you for being amazingly yourself; and your hair looks really healthy despite the super long protective style!
You go StarPuppy!!! 💫 🙌🏾
Fluff nugget it's good to see you again!
Your hair looks so good!!!
Love seeing you happy and your hair is bouncy happy too
Your hair looks gorgeous 😍
Months and months!! It so easy to do that with braids.
I agree fully with this review! So plump and clumped and light and springy and leaves movement to the hair.
Great review!
Fluff nugget has flourished and I just took out my braids my hairs so thick now 🤷🏾♀️ I might try Senegalese twists thanks Star Puppy for the hair style inspiration ❤️❤️❤️
I too love it! I got when she did the pre launch sale and my hair just eats it up.
I just bought that deep conditioner, can't wait to try it! Thanks for putting me on girl
Oh my goodness 8 months! You did good to sslvage what you did. Beautiful You and Fluff nugget are resilient ❤
I left my hair in braids from faux locs then wore wigs for 5 months and it did almost loc up, I had to take down then detangle for 12hrs 😅 it’s hard! Honestly considering locs but I love my hair big not necessarily long. Just know it happens to all of us especially 4c folks, sometimes it feels overwhelming so don’t be hard on yourself
Fluff nugget looks so good❤❤❤
Have been watching your old videos and I absolutely adore your weirdness!
Hearing 8 months and my immediate reaction was🤯😵💫😵🤯...but fluff nugs held up
I love your voice energy skin smile and personality!!!!! 😍 thank you 🙏🏾
I love the conditioner...absolutely will buy again
I’m going to have to try that out! I like the Texture ID Deep Treatment Masque and I feel like that deep conditioner can help with it.
Omg I found you again!! It’s been so long
this girl is stunning !!! the girl is beautiful !!! ;-) woaw
Fluff nugget is beautiful!
I signed up for Scentbird!!! Thanks!!!
Danielle what do you meeean Fluffnugget has been away for 8 months, in my head it feels like, I see her everyday everywhere all the time😭 anyway I am so happy you're feeling better and Fluffnugget looks great! (as do you😚)
That melanin deep conditioner is the TRUTH!
FLUFF NUGGET GREWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!
I love the deep conditioning it did a lot for my hair
True beauty. Gorgeous.
When I get braids I like to leave them in for longer than I should lol. I spray my roots with conditioner water when I take em down.
Oh I don’t know if you’ve tried it, but my signature scent for a decade has been lemon and vanilla. Dr Watkin lemon lotion, which I can’t find anymore. But I have found similar. Jones and Rose Lemon Sugar scent. Fragrance, Lush Vanilary. 🤗
Do you have a trim schedule/ routine? What is your opinion on trimming schedules? ❤
I love your hair! Fluff Nugget is Fluff-Nuggeting lol
Left my hair in twists for months and it broke off. Just trying to put more love back into it this past year. We understand
I see you fluff nugget getting longer❤
The healthiest my hair got was after weeks and weeks of Monday being dc day, with a spritz of water and braids… four at most + leave in to keep it stretched and hydrated throughout the week. It looks so similar to mine!! Push through is the worst advice I’ve ever heard until it wasn’t. Don’t let hair loss discourage you, water and nourish yourself. ❤️🌷
I shaved all my hair off in 11th grade because of naptural. I would follow this lady off a Cliff lol. I’m not surprised her products are good, she’s the only UA-camr who didn’t do too much or make me feel like my hair wasn’t manageable.
EIGHT MONTHS? GIRL...
Great vid! Also I love your background music. What is it called?
PUHlease do a new growth oil video. Also a huge fan of the anime. And don't feel bad about having the twists in so long, life be exhausting and hair isn't always a priority
Look at me early and whatnot 😮💨
I haven’t washed my hair since maybe September? I had a really bad experience with a new shampoo and hair color at the end of spring. My hair locked up really bad and I’ve been detangling/cutting out my hair ever since. I’ve worn it in a tangled bun with a headband pretty much since May. Natural hair really isn’t fun anymore, but I don’t plan to get relaxed.
I’ve learned my hair does the best when blow dried and in low manipulation styles…if I ever get back to that point. 😒 I need all the deep conditioner. All of it.
I don't know I just don't have patience to keep my hair for 8 months I love going through my hair 🙃 😩
When you wear braids you still have to care for your hair. Some people forget that. I do see growth your hair is growing beautifully
8 months??? Wow, impressive! And here I was thinking that my 3 months was something...
😂 I fell out at UTILITY USE 😂
Hey Danielle 🙋
Okayyy fluff nugGET!!
I had to cut my hair off because depression was getting to me and ive been so sick this year and I couldn’t keep up with the maintenance 🥲
Please review Pre shampoo by African pride. I'm telling you, it's the bomb 💯. Especially for 4c hair like mines. You will be amazed lol!
Girl what? Why? I could never. lol!
I gasped Ms. Fluff Nugget looking different
Already subscribed but I did like the video
i keep cutting my hair. i can't manage. so it's short on the side and back and a little longer on the top. it's too much on top of LIFE ITSELF
i was just about to run out of my deep (non aussie) conditioner, i'll look into melanin
I know I’m super late but African pride has this pre-poo that’s only five dollars that has aloe Vera gel and coconut water and when I keep styles in too long it definitely comes in clutch ✨🤌🏽
Currently have passion twists in my hair going on 3 months now. Taking them out is not happening anytime soon due to a medical condition that has me in extreme physical pain. I'm worried that my kitchen and a few other areas will lock as my hair locks very easily. Trying to stay positive that my hair will be ok and that I don't have extreme hair loss when I can finally take them out
Wait, did you not wash you hair when you took out your passion twists last month before you put them back in?😳 Or do you mean that you just used a rinse out conditioner and didn't deep condition that time?
How does it compare to the 4c only deep conditioner?
Y r u so simply gorgeous 😅😊❤ 👊🏿
I'm sensing there must be an inside joke or this is an experiment to throw us off with this twist month counting 😂. Idk what it is but I'll wait around to find out
FIRST ❤
💜💜💜
Wait I’m so confused... didn’t she take these passion twists out in like september? Just went back to watch the video, it feels like she’s taken them out multiple times during these 8 months ^-^’
Or does people usually install their hair in a protective style right away, like the day efter taking the old ones out, and that counts as having a protective style for several months, even if you reinstall them?
😍😍😍😍
8 months without a deep conditioning? 😅I couldn’t dare go 2 weeks
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
8 MONTHS ??!! LIKE 8 MONTHS STRAIGHT ?! 😮
🖐😊
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I'm confused, do you mean you've been rocking passion twists for 8 months or that you put them in 8 months ago and you're taking them down for the first time??? 😱
from her previous videos it seems tha she takes em out (for wash days) and reinstalls em and wears it for the entire month. Otherwise, taking out 8 months of shedded hair would been a messy video 😂
@@quasar4472 Ik! But the way she's wording it confuses me 🤣 I feel like the take down videos are fairly recent and not cached, but she was on hiatus for a while. Idk. Idk!
She said she's had them in for bascially
a whole year, so I think she's had them in for 8 months fr 😳
@@Iwasonceanonionwithnolayers Yeah, I agree with you! I just base what she puts out(seeing the passion twist, few take down videos and then turbans from after wash days)
The wording should be better!
@@MsCornyDogs She takes them out, washes and re installs them. She's done and said this for every take down video. She's just counting how long she's re done this one and only style.
Okay, no, stop. What's going on? This is the like... 4th video you've taken out twists you've had in for "so long". What is the timeline here?? What's going on? 😂
She takes them out for washing then puts them back in right after
This whole video is just an ad smh
Wearing braids is no excuse for being lazy and not caring for your hair unless you have a real legit reason. Even in braids you still have to care for your hair
You can clearly see that her scalp and new growth was clean, so even if it was in there you don’t know the reasons why, so you don’t need to judge. She was clearly washing her hair and most likely moisturizing it too
First
I know you lying, 8 mo. My hair would have locked up after 1 mo.
Hun just go ahead and loc you're hair
Definitely get a professional trim to maintain that growth! You can lowkey see the split ends 😢
