I love it. I've owned a Cobra and would love to own another, but never in my life could I ever justify spending the money these newer ones sell for for. Blows my mind how expensive cars have gotten over the years.

C Chen totally agree, Ford should really crack down on it. From my experience, they are by far the worst at mark ups and “adjusted price”. Maked me not want to even bother with them anymore.

You do realize that you have rights as a consumer? If you want it for MSRP then demand for the MSRP. They have no reason to mark it up other than to get more money which is bullshit. If I saw that I'd immediately call them out on their bullshit and demand to pay not a cent of what the MSRP is optioned out. If they don't like it then tell them to fuck off and walk away. Dealerships are scam artists and should be banned.

The DCT is a game changer making insane quarter mile times of 10.6s at 133mph. I prefer DCTs to regular automatic torque converters.

They finally made the full conversion for 2015 coyotes. Ima just throw a turbo on mines and convert the rear bumper to the 2020 gt500 and boom I have me a gt500 for not 100k

Bruh i cant wait to get one. I really hope the prices calm down over the next couple years cause some of these dealers are marking it up 30k over MSRP
If you really look for them you can find base gt500 and cftp GT500SE with no markup. In Wisconsin I have seen them go base with handling pack and heated and cooled seats no stripes they go for 74k new. Cftp I’ve seen go for 90k without the cheap stripes. The vinyl stripes are $1000 the painted are $10,000 and recaro seats cost more than the heated and cooled seats so just dumb the cftp GT500 down a bit and throw the money at supercharger pulley and tune

Nice. I'd trade that price sticker for what I paid for my first car though. That was a white 1963 Ford Falcon with a three on the tree manual transmission for $400.00. Sure the Pony car has a few more accessories and just might go a little quicker but how often can you buy a car eleven years older than you are with a straight six?

Painted stripes are stupid expensive but massive appearance difference. Vinyl have a orange peal look and scratch very easily. Stripes Painted by Penske.
Only thing I would change is the dial back to a stick

I love my country i am an American. But I've never liked American cars. I rented a Ford Mustang 5.0 Premium convertible, it was an animal of a machine built in HELL!! Extremely powerful engine that just pulls hard with no stress. I hit 130mph in a blink of an eye. it felt like I was doing 50mph. I can only imagine how this car drives. Ford has made a fantastic automobile, I SLEPT on Ford!!

Almost identical interior to premium GT. Outside styling is different... but is it worth $40k more for this car? Much more power then GT but 460 for base GT fast enough and easily boosted. Just not worth added money if you’re budget limited since in pandemic now and times are tough. It’s the most powerful Mustang but also the most expensive. This car is probably $100k+. You can buy a new Porsche Spyder for this money which will hold value better for sure.

Cool power output, but for the price it's not worth it in my opinion. The interior looks cheap for a car of that price. The sync system is outdated. I'd rather buy a Porsche 911 for that type of money.

Ford is treading in Porsche territory with the pricing, for sure. I own and have owned several 911s but the Camaro ZL1 1LE is appealing to me because of its price point. Not so with the Mustang.

People aren't going to buy a Shelby because of its luxury amenities or nice interior. Its engineered to be a race car with practicality. Dont knock it until you've driven one cause I can tell you it is fucking bliss

Seriously considering selling my new Navigator for this GT500, just waiting to see the “Raptor R” V8 refresh. The TRX is heavily marked up- not sure on reliability, and Corvette C8s are MIA. Sure the Tesla “Plaid” has the speed, but I love a muscle car V8 sound and throttle. If I gave you 100K, what else options are there?!
