Can you go back to some classic shows? Versace SS95, Margiela SS89, Steven Sprouse FW84, early nineties Alaia, McQueen SS99, I would love your take on these and why they were important to fashion history and also it's fun see the 90's models!
As a brand new member of the HauteLeMode family. designer and fashion related. I want to mention to Luke that your shirt is everything love the vibes it’s giving and love you too 💜🧡💛🖤 Much love and Fabulocity to the community and stay shining loves 🤍✨
I was hoping for a members only video/ live chat about what might happen at Chanel. Frankly, I don't have the time to keep up with the speculation but I'd love someone to do the leg work for me so I can stay up to date 😅
Daniel said in the Loic Prigent video that there are no feathers in this collection and those were actually tubes of triple organza twirled into spikes. The level and amount of reference and inspiration in this collection and the craftsmanship it took to make it is just peak haute couture. And that green dress is in reference to l’absinthe, the degas painting, which is my fave painting ever, made me cry.
The shoe dress definitely gave me lampshade vibes. I liked the black dress with that layered treatment better. Whoever is doing the collabs including shoes is no Magritte!
Love ur videos but would you consider to do videos about different type of fabrics/materials used in fashion with examples of processing methods or typical fabrics by fashion houses? Everytime I see ur books I´m more into learning new things
I love your channel, I always learn something! Thank you for this review, the Schiaparelli Couture is breathtaking. Dreaming of the day I can purchase a couture piece from them 😍 The feather cape, just stunning!
I'm a very recent subscriber to your channel and nowhere near a fashionista nor a student of fashion history but I've come to adore your channel because you give me a window into the potential why's and how's of fashion at the highest levels along with a fantastic depth of history that has me enthralled with each new video. You sir, are turning me into a fashionista!
I love your collar, I always wanted to pull that off, but I have to wear the narrow ones, thanks for having the physicallity and matching personality that makes it rock. Peace.
For anyone else wondering it’s mille-feuille. French for thousand leaves I believe and is as Luke says a pastry. I loved this look too - I’d much prefer the dress over the pastry and so creative!
The rebirth could be focused on the approach to the references and a departure from the gold rush that dominated his previous presentations! I’m intrigued too to see if this was a new foundation he’s setting for the direction of the house of if it was a thing of the moment for this season and this season only
Roseberry has breathed new life back into it with interesting takes on the past but modernized (different from being bastardized, thankfully). The Schiaparelli shows have been the ones I've looked most forward to. They are just breathtaking overall.
Actually for me the weird shoe-bustier thing took my breath away at first glance. I find it stunning, magical, transcendential, deeply erotic. I don’t even want to look at it for too long in order to not break the cosmic mystery of its beauty. In Bulgaria we say: “it’s a matter of taste”, said the dog, and licked its ass.
hi Luke, can you make a review of a NICARAGUAN designer ""Erick Bendaña"" please? T-T was at the Dubai Fashion Week, i need your professional criticism... CENTRAL AMERICA REPRESENTATIVE yay or nay?
Daniel may well be in the running for Chanel, but it feels to me like there is still more for him to explore at Schiaparelli. If he were not at that House, who could approach the essence of Elsa Schiaparelli as he has done recently?
When I saw you in this shirt I smiled. It's bright and bold. Like you are. I liked a lot of the collection. But I also want you to do Ambani wedding. Your reviews always make my day 💕💕💕💕
Maybe I need new glasses and maybe it was different if you were there in person but I had to question the lighting of that show. The clothes in black were almost impossible to see. What I did see that I am so over seeing were the sheer boob exposing designs. Aren’t we over that yet?
Oh good lord: please make a review of the clothes worn by those who requested that darn wedding coverage instead?! They deserve more attention than the "guests"...
Using animal print but making it obvious it’s fake reminds of when fur was trendy in the 90s but they dyed them neon colors so they wouldn’t get hate from animal rights groups.
sorry men's wear not ware. looked for it couldn't find it. rose petals in rectangles/ pools that the models walked around both sides criss crossing at bottom then going back to wait on steps in front of building. one of the male (only male) model's hat blew off as he made the turn. who was it? what did you think of it?
Me thinks Luke has semi secret relationships with nearby thrift stores for couture pieces and often has to think about paying rent vs. collecting. Love 💗 ya 💋
thank you haute le mode everyone said in unison
luke clocking historical references is sooo satisfying to watch.
100%
Agree. It’s why I appreciate his feedback and critique over others.
literally why i'm here
Wonderful to see slow, elegant model walks rather than the angry fast marches of late.
Usually, models walk slower for Haute Couture shows
The model showing the shoe-bustier thing, right? 😻 reminded me of Iman’s wichcraft back in the day
The model wrapped in golden wings was strutting so convincingly I was genuinely disappointed she didn't lay an egg.
I loved this show and was intrigued by how the models presented themselves and the fashions. I get tired of the military march down the runway.
Coffee is brewed and I'm sat for this couture review!!

Second this with all my heart
'Less than on par reading skills' is my new burn...brilliant 😅

I am Ok for the modern "faux furs", why not ? beautiful collection, respect for all the creators and craftsperson's who are working in the ateliers !
I appreciate the way you explain these fashions and let us know how they connect with fashion history and present fashion. Thank you!
A new HauteLeMode video means class is in session.
Beautiful, the Phoenix cape? If I had the coins!
I watch other youtubers at the gym or while cooking but j save yours when I can give it full attention.
The black and green dress at the end of the video is gorgeous.
Had no idea that Goebell’s girlfriend’s leopard outfit in Inglorious Basterds was Schiaparelli!!
I was hoping for a members only video/ live chat about what might happen at Chanel. Frankly, I don't have the time to keep up with the speculation but I'd love someone to do the leg work for me so I can stay up to date 😅

Another great "lecture" professor! Loved all of it, thank you! 👍
TEA! Roseberry's work with the faux animals was incredible!
I live for the shoe concept
I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Jean Paul Gaultier this season.
"well it was magical, it made Doja Cat cry" took me out fsr
The shoe dress definitely gave me lampshade vibes. I liked the black dress with that layered treatment better. Whoever is doing the collabs including shoes is no Magritte!
What a show! Oh, and I LOVE your shirt.
I normally hate animal print but the faux zebra number was such a highlight
Love ur videos but would you consider to do videos about different type of fabrics/materials used in fashion with examples of processing methods or typical fabrics by fashion houses? Everytime I see ur books I´m more into learning new things
I’m so excited for the Thom Browne show
My favorite is the shirt you're wearing love it❤
Yet another great video which both entertains and educates. Thank you Luke. ❤
saw a beautiful collection of sparkly and floral men's ware at some historic garden/pools. are you going to comment on that? dior? i think it was.
I love your channel, I always learn something! Thank you for this review, the Schiaparelli Couture is breathtaking. Dreaming of the day I can purchase a couture piece from them 😍 The feather cape, just stunning!
This collection is gorgeous and your commentary greatly appreciated!
Thank you for discussing the animal fur issue. You’re right on point. Roseberry has done it AGAIN! AMAZING!!!!!!

I didn't see a napoleon as much as I saw the underside (the gills) of a mushroom.
I loved the show, it was everything I love about haute couture, interesting shapes, material all expertly made and referencing other great pieces.
Hi! I know you don't like the brand, but I loved the Sardinian Dolce & Gabbana collection... Maybe make a review on it, please? 😁❤️
Love the shirt honey.
Yes, the red and black jacket. sign me up!
Hello Honey. You're like a fresh breath of air. Ty XOXO
I enjoyed this show. Thank you for this review and analysis!
ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! 🤍🖤✨️
Thank you Luke. Absolutely amazing
Lemme listen and watch while draping
I love your collar, I always wanted to pull that off, but I have to wear the narrow ones, thanks for having the physicallity and matching personality that makes it rock. Peace.
Those organza mille fiore (sp?) dresses are amazing!
For anyone else wondering it’s mille-feuille. French for thousand leaves I believe and is as Luke says a pastry. I loved this look too - I’d much prefer the dress over the pastry and so creative!
Can you please cover the Big Fat Indian Wedding please??
YAAAAAAYYY😍😍😍
Love the shawl dresses. Beautiful…

I like the feather quills effect
Roseberry has breathed new life back into it with interesting takes on the past but modernized (different from being bastardized, thankfully). The Schiaparelli shows have been the ones I've looked most forward to. They are just breathtaking overall.
I loved it and you are spot on. Brilliant ❤
Please do Ambani wedding (all of the recent ceremonies)❤
I watched an IG reel the other day; Daniel Roseberry states that the “quills” are twirled pieces of fabric. The result is really stunning!
"I don't think it's his fault people are shitty." RIGHT?!!?!?!? boom
🎯
Schiaparelli is the moment
Love your top.
I think the stilettos heels @11:31 imitates snail antennas.
Wow would love those napoleon skirts to go mainstream! 😮😊
Love your shirt.
You are the best 😊
Hey , can you make video on outfit of celebrities in amabani wedding ?? Plwese 😢
I cant wait for Thom Browne
Hey do a video on Anant Ambani 's wedding guests.
Thank you😊
Love the shirt:)
Not as avant guards but do you review Zuhair Murand show for this fall. I thought some were awesome
Accurate analysis
The front of the white mille feuille dress makes me think of book pages
The Jacquemus in capri show!!
Fantastic'ness

I like your shirt.

now...if only Daniel would reintroduce Elsa's gorgeous perfume 'Shocking'
Maybe I need new glasses and maybe it was different if you were there in person but I had to question the lighting of that show. The clothes in black were almost impossible to see. What I did see that I am so over seeing were the sheer boob exposing designs. Aren’t we over that yet?
It should be Galliano for Chanel.
eyyyy
"spiracy contheory" is NASTY business lmaooo
Please cover the Ambani wedding. There are some really amazing looks from it. Thanks 😊
🤩

Luke, sweetheart. What is that blouse, you are wearing made of? It hurts my feeling, but I love you. Carry on.
walking slow - annoyes me when their like running down the runway -- its like why somewhere to go?
3:46 😂😂😂😂😂
I can envision a banana dress.
