I highly doubt it. Mario games have been so sanitized lately that I doubt they'll get creative like that anymore. It's also why I'm worried about a new Mario Strikers because I doubt it'll have the same atmosphere that Charged had.
I miss playing this and Mario Power Tennis. I would say that it was frustrating unlocking the secret characters character (I'm looking at you Shadow Mario and Bowser Jr.) but the game itself was a ton of fun. I never understood why some people say golf is boring, its really fun once you understand the sport and even more so when trying to become a pro. Here is my top 3 multiplayer Mario series: #1 is Mario Kart, #2 is Mario Golf, and #3 is Mario Tennis.
And unlike my personal fave Mario girl Rosalina, both Peach and Daisy have their sportswear on; Rosalina golfs in her dress and heels partly as she uses her wand to control her club and partly as she mainly floats.

I miss playing this and Mario Power Tennis. I would say that it was frustrating unlocking the secret characters character (I'm looking at you Shadow Mario and Bowser Jr.) but the game itself was a ton of fun. I never understood why some people say golf is boring, its really fun once you understand the sport and even more so when trying to become a pro. Here is my top 3 multiplayer Mario series: #1 is Mario Kart, #2 is Mario Golf, and #3 is Mario Tennis.
Camelot's intro videos gave me SO much entertainment as a kid.
