John McCain nailed it about how Joe Biden treated staff. I met him when I was a Senate intern. He saw me monitoring a TV for Senate votes during a hearing I was helping staff and immediately came over to talk to me. He was gracious and humble. I’ve never forgotten his kindness to me.
