Are you aware of any thing that has always existed? Or rather, to the contrary hasn't everything always come from something which is a rational fact that we can conclude by perceiving everything and anything day in and day out?
What is more rational and conclusive as valid previous information for generating an opinion on the origin of the universe? Information that you have already verified by the rational thought process as being valid, or information that has not been verified and disagrees with the rationale of existing things?
When we can already establish with certainty that 100% of everything always come from something, (I.e dependant, limited and finite) and this is the norm, why are we then desperately clinging onto an option of ''could be'' or ''perhaps'' by using this as a basis for supporting "something from nothing" and delving into the impossibility when we have never witnessed something as having this attribute before?
Remember, it's always important to utilise the knowledge of what we definitely know and can prove as a basis and criteria for passing judgement on any given topic.

The halal method of slaughter is seriously the most humane way to do it. All other methods inflict an initial bit of pain and aren't even gaurenteed to work on all individual animals, some remaining conscious is not unheard of. If you understand the science behind the halal method then it'll be extremely hard to argue against it, and it all boils down to where the oxygen is going. Brains fuction with crazy amounts of electrical signals, the brain absolutely needs oxygen to keep this up. Consciousness can be easily messed with if the supply of oxygen to the brain is hindered, even if partially and briefly. A bit of acceleration against gravity can be enough to cause a faint, and people have been known to faint from standing up too quick. The halal slaughter method ensures no new oxygen can reach the brain, AND also ensures the heart is actively pumping blood away from the brain, this results in a gaurenteed and quick faint. There isn't a better method to induce a loss of consciousness quicker, and with more reliability, all while minimalizing the initial jolt of pain than the halal slaugter method. The alternatives can easily lead to a horror show if any particular animal has higher tolerances and can somewhat withstand the initial attempt, but an extremely sharp knife will always do the job.

That is basically, Islamic belief, you accept the most sound and rational explanation and you don't need to wait for an empirical experiment for the existence of creator, because at the end of the day it is not about empirical tests based on our (forever) limited knowledge of science or universe but our rationale.
