I have a theory: I personally think that it’s about a toxic relationship and getting revenge, in the last part when it said “I’m a dancing doll, I remember that pain that day, your the one who broke me…?” Is a perfect resemblance of a toxic person breaking the other persons heart and now that other person is getting revenge by killing that toxic person in the relationship, the doll is a great resemblance of the other person in the toxic relationship being used like a marionette, at the very last line “I cry and scream, but I love you my marionette” (I think that’s the line), is like the other person running away from the toxic person and that toxic person is tricking the other person to come back to him so that he will abuse the other person more

@@Bombom-000 nah, you missed the part where the doll isn't always a doll. But a woman that was killed by the marionette and turned into the doll. You're partially right on the Japanese dolls, but you're missing a lot of story. Basically, the doll misses the marionette and tries to attach the strings back to her lover's (the marionette) hands. As if you read the 2nd pre-chorus verse, it states that the marionette, who used to be a manipulative puppeteer, is now a snitch for the government, a puppet if you will, hence the kitten's game. The doll is trying to commit the crimes that her lover used to use her to do before, to remind the marionette of their love and moments, and tries to understand the marionette that she just saw upon returning to the mansion.
The 1st verse tells us that the woman rejected God's afterlife to return to the mansion which is full of dead bodies of the people that the marionette killed. The 2nd verse tells us about the predicament of her being a doll for her lover. The phrase "I bear the burden of love’s wrongdoing" tells us about her being an accomplice of the marionette's crimes. After that phrase, she tries to convince the marionette to control her once again to do his deed, as well as trying to understand why he stopped. The verses before the 2nd chorus refers to the people that the marionette invited, and uses them as targets for her to commit the crimes that her lover used her to do. "Which of those dukes is a lowly bat? Which of these concubines is feigning innocence? Every day, according to your orders, I strip off their masks" tells us that the marionette used to kill these politicians and royalties to prevent them from ratting him out of his crimes.
The 2nd chorus also has the 2nd part changed from her as the subject to the invited people as the subject. From "Even if I cry, even if I scream, without being tied to you, I'm terrible" to "Even if they’re killed, even if they’re burned, without my being tied to you, I'm terrible", which switches the meaning from her simply being alone as a curse to her committing the murders without the marionette's control as a curse. Which means that she cannot live unless the marionette goes back to his old self. Which means that despite her trying to kill the people he used to kill as an act of love, the marionette simply doesn't want to control her once again.
The 2nd pre-chorus is basically the doll finding out that the marionette is now a puppet, a snitch himself, and is disgusted by his predicament to the point that she is willing to break the strings and let loose.
The 1st part of the last chorus tells us that she remembers the day that the marionette broke her heart by leaving the mansion. And the 2nd part tells us that she finally broke the strings and tightly embraced the marionette, such that even though the marionette is harmed by the embraced and covered in the blood of the people the doll killed and is in deep pain or shock, she is still gonna love him and missed him. Her breaking the strings means that she disregards the craving for control (via his strings) just to being able to feel his embrace once again.
How the story goes is that this doll is once a rich submissive yandere lover that the marionette killed to turn her into a puppet for him to use to commit heinous crimes to gain societal power. They're partner in crime with a toxic powerplant relationship setup. But the marionette moved on from it (due to guilt), leaving the doll (his lover) behind. It's suggested in the lyrics that the marionette is trying to invite the authorities (politicians and their staff) for him to confess his crimes and end it once and for all. But the doll wasn't really happy about that. So, she went loose and killed everyone that the marionette invited, and went for a final embrace to express all of her eternal love for the marionette. We don't know what happened to the marionette after that.
And before you respond, I analyzed the Japanese lyrics and contextualized them on English. Things like kitten's game or lowly bat are Japanese phrases that gives context to the song.
Also, there's this odd tonal shift on the last chorus. When she said " you're the one who broke me?", It was said in a puzzled tone and not in a shocked angry tone, and then switches to a more happy / joyful tone after that. Which is unlike the other choruses where she sang them in a more depressing / desperate tone. That made me think about what happened to the marionette. With the verse "I'm falling in love with the gore spattered you", that suggested that the marionette killed someone that made the doll snap out of the strings. Because the verse didn't say gore-splattered which would suggest lethal harm, but spattered meaning that he was covered in blood and gore instead. This last chorus somehow changes the tone and meaning of the entire song. Maybe the doll snapped the strings because the marionette that she loved is back when she witnessed him killing a person in front of her. And her being more celebratory in the last chorus supports this. I swear, this song is a lot more than it says.
Also, last addition. For some reason, Ladymonsters tend to use the word marionette instead of marionettist, especially when referring to a person who controls the subject. Both Dolls' Fall & Doping Pierrot uses the word marionetto for some reason. Maybe it rolls off the tongue better than the right word. It's weird. Marionette is the puppet. Marionettist is the puppeteer.

@@xgames9816 yeah, that's what I do, folks! I've seen way too many comments that just hear about some of the lyrics being about psycho doll and just assume that it's a revenge yandere story. That would be a massive disservice to the song as the song is much more nuanced than that for its short length. I'm actually glad that the song isn't a generic yandere song. With things like marionette as a person, their relationship and their distate for politicians.
