The video shows less than 10 % of the shots, and obvisously the closest ones to the pin. I think talking about consistency would make sense if they put them all on the video. I'm pretty sure every player on the tour can put 1 ball out of 10 in a 1 yard radius of the pin, specially repeating the same swing again and again. Agree with you for the excitement though!

Wrong to play "darts". They should play a knocked down shot at a beyond-the-pin pace that lands short and rolls up to the hole. Those who practice chipping hole out regularly and should know the rolling ball goes in much more often than any lob at the pin.
@@PointNemo9 His shot pattern isn't random. Randomness is luck. This is increasing your probability of making one by hitting accurate shots. The more accurate you are (i.e. the tighter your shot distribution) the better the chance of it going in.

I've been playing for 8 years and I finally got mine last November. 162 yards actual..big gusty wind dead against. I played it 172/175...bounced ten feet short once and rolled in. I went ballistic like he did. Bravo man Bravoo!!

Learned that no matter what calibre of golfer we are...it seems to be human to get frustrated and even worse: let in doubt and get harsh on ourselves for not succeeding immediately. Tom Spencer there is no “to an unknowing golfer statistic” you could have never swung a club before and still had the same odds as any person in the world. A hole in one is not a skill it’s a moment of pure luck.

Underrated is one of the most overrated word of Internet comments :) I love Andy Sullivan, he is a funny fellow, but on a basically result oriented point of view, he is well below average since his peak year in 2015 with 3 wins on Europen Tour and a qualification for Ryder Cup 2016 (where he did very poorly as all Englishmen that year). No top 10 on Majors, no top 15 on WGC, no significant result for around 30 months… I'm afraid Beef and him are really struggling transforming huge popularity into good results. Great video though.
