I was just thinking today about how much God blessed us by providing us with these non-human creatures. Especially for people like me who didn't have children, these are perfect baby substitutes and as they grow older, they become perfect companions and friends. I think they're even better than one's own children.
Mines been gone 19 years and I still miss him. Couldn't just "replace" him and now dont have the space or fitness to maintain one. Maybe when I relocate in the next few years.
As someone who has owned rabbits- they are not gentle. They are deadly creatures who yearn for human blood even when you give them what they want. But I do not doubt that Rottweilers are friendly and cute.
When I bred rotties, the mom and dad totally surprised me when they had their first litter. They carried the pups out through the doggy door, and into the yard, then pushed on their bellies with their noses to make them go to the bathroom, then carried them back to the kennel box. They weened them at 6 weeks, I sold them as fully house trained at 9 weeks. Good dogs they were. Smart as a whip. Could open doors and gates.

They wur twins... dumeanior...mentality...alertness...awareness...defense move....sense height.. especially when dad popped up in defense mood. So awesome.
My Son had such a sweet Rotti I loved her so much.... She stole my heart.... I was so afraid of her when I came to visit he and his brand new family , ( 2 lil babies etc... I had a heart attck.... Roxy soon came up to me crawling on her belly to me nuzzling my hand to say Oma I won't hurt you or the babies.... laying her head against me..... Nearly 25 years ago.... The boys (grandsons) and granddaughter grew up with Roxy always there their entire life.... She was such a wonderful family pet, she even thought she could be a lap dog :) which of course was sweet.... She lived many years and never did I ever see a time she was ever aggressive, Oh one time when a sudden uninvited person knocked.... Roxy's' hair stood up and one bark... I loved her dearly
Their faces go from teddy bear to ferocious this breed is loving we had one in our neighborhood it stayed in a backyard he would get loose and run straight for a group of kids wanting to play ...
I’m pretty sure the dad was like his kids when he was young and his dad did exactly what he doing to his kids growling it’s all tough love but you can tell he really loves his kids
I miss having a Rottweiler. We had one that was a German Rottweiler we had gotten from people where I live. He was great and very kind and sweet. May he rest in peace. ❤
