I watched this in Jan 2020 and decided to give it a try. Have lost 22 lbs in 5 mo w/o trying, feel significantly better, no longer have desire for alcohol, far greater endurance, I'm in my 60s, and did attend a wedding in late Feb when I ate meat and felt like crap for 3 days. This lifestyle change for me has been significant. It's not a diet and I'll never go back. I'm not easily influenced by movies like this but couldn't identify a movie sponsor, like the Bean Growers of America. So, thumps up to the movie producer, so far it's had a positive change in my health.

The truth is, that we are not capable of absorbing micro nutrients (bio availability, lots of anti nutrients and so on) from plants. That is why few years ago models loved vegan diets, they lost weight eating tons of grass like non foods, but felt better at first (the honeymoon faze) but then their health declined bit by bit and lots of vegans stooped or started eating fish, eggs, the occasional burger (real not the garbage fake once they sell now) and eventually meat was introduce back to recuperate. Its just a matter of how strict your vegan diet is, to see how long can you sub-exist on it. If you also eat fish or eggs you will never know how damaging vegan diets are. In reality our bodies can handle lots of things even a strict vegan diet (plant based only I mean) until you look like a corpse or die (Steve Jobs). Its your choice.. If you believe The Game Changer misinformation (a very well made documentary I have to say) you'll be in for a big disappointment if you are willing to admit it later on. It's hard to do that, especially if you felt great at first (taking out fast foods will do that). But if you do the vegan diet also for the planet or for the animals, you should know that plant farming/agriculture (mono crops in particular) kills more animals and living creatures then any animal farms, not to mention destroying everything else in the processes, the soil, the small animals, every living creature on it, and humans (for plants that are nothing like the original or did not exist in the wild), with all the deforestation, desertification, pesticides, fungicides, you name it... Killing animals its usually done humanly in farms or we should fight to de done this way, or stop any farming all together (both plant or animals) and go for grass fed, free animals, wild caught and so on.. There is a normal cycle where plants, animals and humans coexist in harmony. Plants as well, not just humans or animals need animals and their "remaining" (including manure) to live. That's how life it goes. If you think eating plants is cruelty free or environmentally friendly, think again. Its quite the opposite...

Our whole family started eating a plant based diet (95% plant based- 5% processed vegan food) after watching this movie and Doing some more research. I can tell you this was the greatest decision we have ever made. My parents struggled with high blood pressure - now they are not taking any medication at all and they are so fit now, having perfect blood pressure, suddenly they are working out and being much more healthy and fit. Back then when I ate meat I had to take a nap everyday. Eating plant based I am full of power - never tired, way more focused. Once you cut out this whole processed crap food (dairy and meat) and eat plant based- veggies start to taste so good. You start getting a whole different taste for fresh and healthy food. For all those who keep asking why isn't it immediately being put online (i.e. a streaming service) and are not familiar with the film/tv industry, it's probably due to film award rules. @Ian Duke
Rick Armstrong is right. You are wrong.
There are more nutrients you couldn't get from a plant-based diet. But those are few and not essential. AKA we don't need them in our food in the first place (unless we have rare pre-existing conditions) to stay healthy. And so it is rather ridiculous that they are pointed out all the time. So don't start with certain nutrients that we either don't need or can produce on our own.
And that veganism is healthy is obvious. Because otherwise there wouldn't be a whole community of religious vegans in California that thrives so much on a vegan diet that they became the most successful blue zone for longevity in the world. You couldn't unlock that achievement if this would be a starvation diet. So you are clearly wrong.
Just one thriving old long-term vegan would be enough to prove your entire point obsolete. We CAN and DO get all we need from our diet. And there are not one but thousands of those examples just driving this point home pretty hard.
In the current world, you need to be highly biased and prone to fallacies to ignore the obvious truth that a vegan diet CAN be healthy. Good thing for people like you that the meat you eat comes with a ton of bias. And you probably supplement it daily on the internet too. So there is no shortage of fallacious thinking on your part.
The question if a well-planned vegan diet is the healthiest option is a little more tricky and less obvious. But it is also a moot question, because nearly no one eats so well, that they can't improve their health on a well-planned vegan diet.
But as far as human knowledge goes on this topic, a well-planned vegan diet could really be the real deal and the most healthy diet on the planet. That's the reason so many athletes switch to this diet to improve their performance. And this is further supported by research on the Californian vegans, meat, dairy, eggs and the health issues of our time. Not saying that there is scientific proof. Since such a thing does not exist. Not even the theory of gravity is proven, and it will never be. Since prove does not exist outside mathematics and strict logic. Not even saying that the scientific community is united on this. The jury is still out on this one. But the evidence stacks pretty high.

Kendrick Farris has never won an Olympic medal, and has never even came close to third place.
Patrik Baboumian is a literal troll. He’s so insecure about himself he has to act like a cocky bastard and make claims about ‘world records.’ That world record yoke walk he claims to have was beaten by Laurence Shahlaei with 580kg as well as the mountain and Brian Shaw in the Arnold Strongman Classic in 2017. He has NEVER competed in a WSM or ASC tournament, and even if he did he wouldn’t stand a chance against Shaw, Bjornson, Shahlaei, Hall, Caron or Savickas or any of them to be honest (They all eat lots of meat, I might add).
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying either of these athletes aren’t strong, I’m just trying to prove the point that it’s wrong to say veganism enhances abilities like strength (when eating meat actually builds muscle better). After all, I said both of the athletes I mentioned have never won world titles.

Something amazing happened today. One of my colleagues told me that she and her partner (he’s also a colleague) are going to transition to WFPB after watching the Game Changers together!
She was previously closed to the idea of going plant based. On the very rare occasion that we discussed the meat industry, I’d say something like “Yeah, but I’ve seen footage of ...” and she would cut me off. She didn’t want to hear about the shocking cruelty whilst eating her chicken salad. She really blew me away today with this news, especially given that they’re in their fifties, and it tends to be the younger generations who are more flexible in these matters.
Bravo to my colleagues, and bravo to everyone involved in the making of this film. Thank you. 🙏❤️

A vegan an vegetarian diet cannot be sustainable. You are looking at athletes who have eaten meat most of their lives and then switch to eating plant based and claim they are so fit now because they cut out meat. Thats nonsensical logic.
Even arnold still eats eggs and meat. There are proteins that plants cannot produce, forms of vitmains that they cannot produce, that we as human need to consume because we cannot produce them from other proteins. Thats why there are food chains rather than just every animal eats plants. Certain biological life forms need protein made by other biological life forms, and sometimes that biological life form is another animal.
      You cant change that.
Untill we can manufacture the proteins we need in a lab from bacteria etc we will have to eat at least some "meat". A vegan diet is a moral decision not a scientific one

They understand that animals are killed and are ok with the death of animals. We've been doing it sense the ice age. But we understand that needless suffering and torturing is too much but these are isolated incidents and only in some meat companies. @ TechLife : so you think you have an ethical behaviour for animals when you promote consumption of technology with a lot of unboxing videos, also doing loads of road trips and foreign countries travel. Your carbon footprint and consumption of fossil fuels is already over the top compared to 75% of the World population. And all your actions (buying technology that most of it you really don't need to live (with nature and to protect it), making the promotion of it so that other people buy the same technological stuff as you do, promoting road trips, promoting foreign travels, all that (your actions) has already indirectly killed more animals than one omnivorous person in a poor population of a poor country (alone by carbon foot print, air pollution, pollution of production methods).
So if you think being vegetarian or vegan in a mass consumption society is more ethical than being an omnivorous person living with nature (aborigines, amazon indios, and people all around the World in low technological consumption and low carbon footprint countries, than you building yourself quit a lot of virtue signalling cognitive dissonance fallacious hypocritical arguments. Bravo continue padding yourself on the shoulder to gain social media acknowledgement but in the real world your life choices have real consequences and only by being vegetarian or vegan will not change much.
And let me guess you like other virtue signalers will later have more than one child (maybe your parents already do). Guess what all the nature friendly actions (veganism, electric cars, less plastic, solar powered houses) have little impact when each additional child that parents have does way more harm to nature and CO2 production than the nature friendly actions could outdo in that additional child's lifetime.
So an omnivore couple in a average consumption country who has only one child by their lifestyle alone destroys nature less than an American (or British) vegan couple with two children.
Try science instead of indoctrination, it works.

It's crazy to think that I was kind of anti-vegan for all my life because I grew up eating meat and knowing that I need to consume meat protein every day to build gains and keep fit. After watching this documentary I decided to give veganism a try and I feel genuinely happier. I watched this on a Wednesday night, ate my last minced turkey on the next day and fully committed on in the Friday after that. I still vividly remember finishing that turkey ( I didn't want to waste food) and the usual sluggish feeling I got after that. I have been vegan for almost 3 weeks now. Of course I did lots of more digging on the topic and ever since then I have been giving my best to eat as healthy as I possibly can. I love it and I am amazed how easy it is, probably because I do feel so good. OMG and I love the food so much more now. Sign me up for anything vegan and food related!
    UPDATE:
Been vegan for a month. It wasn’t difficult and I loved it. I think I am switching to aim to be 95% plant based and occasionally eat fish when it’s freshly caught for family dinners. Oh, and we have our own honey so that’s a second exemption. Otherwise, plant food - yay all the way :))
    2ND UPDATE (24th of April, 2022):
    nov 2021 - fully vegan
dec 2021 - vegetarian (included seafood on a trip to Thailand)
    jan 2022 - 90% plant-based, 10% seafood and protein powders with lactose
feb-april 2022 - back to eating animal products and more experimenting with how I feel the best.
So very happy and pleased to have tried veganism but right now I am doing more experimenting. I don't consume as much lentils anymore, mostly veggies and fruits with fish and chicken. I am eating clean overall and avoiding sugar and wheat and that has also tremendously affected my feeling of well-being. I realised that I didn't like eggs as much so not eating those any more. Only added in chicken, fish, yoghurts and honey. I feel great. What I love most about this experience is that my diet really has changed for the better although it still contains animal products. I never craved for salads or veggie stir-fries but now I feel happy and strong :)
Do whatever works best and feels right to you and I believe you are living well.
