    Looks extremely similar to the slr kit, which is proven to work well. And it’s basically half the price of slr setup here in the states.

    I absolutely loved this video. super informative.
    Ive been wondering about this kit now for a little while for my Turbo E36.
    is there a video update how this kit is doing since posting this video?
    Or can you comment on anything to look out for?
    how did it handle on track? do you daily this car?
    i have questions ! ! lol

    • @TenmillGarage
      @TenmillGarage  2 роки тому

      Thank you! I definitely should do an update video but for now I’ll just tell you that the kit has been flawless for me, I can’t count how many hard track drift days I’ve put on it now. I run 17x8.5 ET12 front wheels, 20mm spacers with 205/40 tires without rubbing at full lock. It handles great for drifting with my current alignment, self steers perfect on transition. I do drive this car on the street to the track but I don’t daily it. It makes the front track width wider about 2” on each side so you need flares or wide body to make it look good. Basically you just need the right wheel/spacer set up to not rub with all the new angle and flares or overfenders so you don’t have wheel poke on stock fenders. I wouldn’t really recommend a full angle kit for a daily car, unless you drift it often or it’s just a drift car.

    • @TenmillGarage
      @TenmillGarage  Рік тому

      It’s kind of a personally preference on how you like your car to drive but a good starting point for the front is -3 to -7 degrees camber, +5 to +7 degrees castor and 0 toe (I like a slight amount of toe out)

      Yes In some cases you need to cut a small amount off the inner tierod to get the alignment right.

      This is not true, efactory has made a lot of improvements to their kits after countless track days testing on multiple cars and have dialled their kit into being a safe and reliable track option with spare parts available and support.

    Its been 4 years, hows the kit holding up? have you or any friends had issues with the kit?

    • @TenmillGarage
      @TenmillGarage  Рік тому +1

      I haven’t driven the car since last September due to our track being shut down for good but up until then the kit was great, only issue I had was a cracked knuckle adapter because of wheel contact with other cars on multiple occasions but was able to get improved replacement parts easily. It’s still in the car and I would go drive it without hesitation

    • @SR20DEBT
      @SR20DEBT Рік тому +1

      @@TenmillGarage damn, sorry to hear about your track, that sucks big time. But that’s good news to hear, that it only broke because of contact on multiple occasions. And the fact that you got an improved one is even better. I’m definitely getting this kit for my e46 m3! Also incase you were wondering, your coupon code still works lol

    • @TenmillGarage
      @TenmillGarage  Рік тому

      @@SR20DEBT It’s a huge bummer but there is hope we’ll get a new track in the future but I’m not going to get my hopes up yet. I was really impressed and happy with the efactory kit, they made improvements on the kit over the years to make them better and stronger some people try to compare them to other similar kits but efactory is proven to work well and hold up to multiple seasons of aggressive drifting. That’s awesome my code is still working! Good luck with your build!

      @@christophersohlberg9902 Do you have an M3 or non-M? Sway bar links on non-M bolts to the control arms which these control arms do have the stock mount location to bolt to. If you have an M3 then you would be mounting the sway bar to the strut or coilover because they use a different mount location than non-M.
