SCM OIKOS XS - CNC Machining centre for prefabricated walls, trusses, roofs, blockhouses

OIKOS XS is the most versatile model in the Oikos range, CNC machining centres for timber construction, suitable for both small and large companies looking for speed of execution but also production quality and flexibility. 
OIKOS XS was designed to process structural elements requiring very simple operations such as cutting but also, elements characterized by more complex operations such as drilling, routing, wood-to-wood joints and hardware slots, on work pieces that can have a maximum length of 16 meters, a maximum width of 450 mm and a maximum thickness of 240 mm.

SPEED: Work piece feeding system built to achieve a maximum speed of 187 m/min. Combined movements of the operating units to cut down unproductive time due to axes repositioning.
TECHNOLOGY: Innovative 5-axis revolver unit dedicated to routing and drilling operations on all work piece faces. Each tool at its optimum conditions of rotation speed, to obtain the maximum degree of work piece finish quality.
PRECISION: Clamping systems that ensure a sturdy and perfect hold of the work piece during feeding. Horizontal and vertical pressure rollers in proximity of the work area and dynamic system for supporting the work piece during processing.
OIKOS XS is equipped with Maestro beam&wall, the proprietary software compatible with the most popular CADs design systems in the industry. 
Programming freedom is guaranteed with Maestro beam&wall, as it allows programming both in the office via PC and directly on the machine via eye-M operator console, complete with Maestro active beam&wall, the new human-machine interface that offers control and optimization of the production flow in an even simpler and more intuitive way.
