Today i'm making some little vellum/parchment type pockets.
I'll be using my iron and some beeswax to make regular copy paper look like vellum/parchment type stuff.

I always end up with curly vellum when i print on it, or wet inky vellum😅 🤗💜

I guess I best look for a craft iron and wax now 🙄
I get it now normally people show you when it's all open I like how you put it together so I could see that the long part is the front the penny dropped. Again you made the waxing look so simple. Super thanks.
I loved this video so funny. The barking paper is now in a different box I was one of those people that couldn't find any brown I've been opening boxes everywhere for the last 2 years but I found some at tescos the other week

That heatproof sheet does not act as an insulator it is just not damaged by heat. Your green mat will get damaged, the sheet won’t protect it. Wax is very similar to grease when melted it does penetrate the paper

Thanks Lucy. I should have made that more clear to those who have more respect for their mats than I do 🙏🙃💜

When you’ve waxed the paper and then put it in a journal, do you need to seal it? Does it ever melt onto or stick to the pages around it?
