I think hydro-fatigue may happen if you do the greenhouse effect (leaving a deep conditioner overnight ) multiple times in a month or keeping you hair wet for extended hours ( 12 to 24 hrs ) .

You are hilarious.... I swim sometimes daily so I guess I should be bald. Lol! I'm not...I still have hair. they ain't scaring me. My health is more important than my hair at this stage in my life.

Use a swimming hair cap if u want to benefit both your hair and health

@@salembenjelloun1159 Swimming caps do not stop your hear from getting wet. that's a myth. They stop your hair from snagging on your goggles and streamline your body for ease of movement through the water.

I put coconut oil in my hair hours before washing with head and shoulders. After, I put a leave in conditioner. I don't blowdry, I let it dry a bit but not completely. I do a little roll with my hair, leave it over night if not even like 30 hours (it can be a style) and have beautiful curls the second day after I washed my hair. Am I damaging my flat hair with this routine ? Espacially with the leave wet over 30 hours part?

I think you’re just fine babe , if you don’t like your flat hair reduce how often you brush out your hair throughout the year and avoid combs too often . But your routine seems like a good one 💕

Oh puhlease! First of all, I did not do no propaganda, I shared my concern and bad experience with OVERwatering hair that led to hygral fatigue. I never said to not water your hair for normal hydration, reading and comprehension is fundamental! You said WET YOUR HAIR WHEN IT'S WET! Who does that?? Do you water a plant that is already watered?? It will die, because you are drowning it!
I liked your channel and was an active member, but I will gladly get up out your comments and unsubscribe, because I can tell you cannot take opposing opinions and think you know everything without doing the proper research - which you quickly did now as it shows as you do not even know how to spell or pronounce hyGral fatigue! - because there are numerous videos on YT about it!

Ma’am I wasn’t even specifically talking about you , directly 😑 someone else wrote something about it with some other rude stuff , also I get hyGral fatigue Questions and concerns all the time ! Not just from you (excuse me if I mispronounced or misspelled 🙄) … I deleted their comment on the previous video because they were actually causing a problem in the comment section and insulting me , but I understand you feeling singled out because I mentioned it in my latest video , but that’s not the case you were just sharing your experience but the other people WERE spreading propaganda while being mean and gathering other people to join in on the negativity. You ended your comment today with some insults but it’s all good I can take that , it’s never that deep for me , it’s social media 🤷🏽‍♀️I’m just trying to help people get long hair , I know all the bad stuff that can possibly happen when growing out your natural hair , but I just focus on spreading all the stuff that can go right. Thanks for watching and I hope you rethink your choice of unsubscribing and not being active in the comments , I am not a person to hold grudges or take things personally, it’s all love 💕
