Awsome job...great video ..i have 1982 4door cutlass supreme with airshocks in the rear, couldn't figure out how to get the front up ..im been looking for some one to show ,what they use...your the man.thank you very much
2wd s10 lift spindles and control arms. Are the way to lift a g body front end, and keep the factory ride quality. It ain’t cheap, but the ride quality is way better than just cramming a bigger spring in the front.
Kudos for keeping the factory wheels on. Only flaw I hated about these cars were the rear windows and their failure to go down (Vent windows were not acceptable GM. Also if Seville's could work, why not these? Sure Seville was on its own platform that had a 6" longer wheelbase but even a partial opening window would have been sufficient)
@cuttykid2013 I got 87 cutty 2 door lifted wit universal car lift bs stuff looks good but could ride lil better plan reduce lift I'll send u link like and subscribe bro
I don't do twist in knuckles. I have only used them once on my first cutlass. And I had to put new springs anyways. So might as well buy bigger springs
@@cuttykid2013 I have 3 in my towncar for 3 years going on 4 no issues I also had em in my 2000 grand marquis with no issues I can’t just throw longer springs in with out extra support cause after 500 miles springs settle an then the car want be sitting as high as it is once they are put on lol

I usually just go with either Box chevy, roadmaster, big squar body Cadillac, or station wagon springs in and it lifts it up just right

I was just looking at it. Im not sure but buty a new one then you will know what you need to take it off. Rockauto has them
I think there is 2 different ones. I'm not sure what one u have on your car. Mine looks like a plastic one.
I think it's a adjustable wrench to take it off
Looking sharp g
What size of wheels you put on it 22s or 24s?
14 inch factory wheels. I never did put rims on it yet
Should I still purchase the rear springs if it says “it don’t fit my vehicle” I have a 1980 cutlass.
Yeah. They are just taller
I have them on my car
Thanks

I didn't use any spacers in the front
No offense but you can get 29” with twist in knuckles upfront an airshocks in the rear
