He was such a good player, so unlucky with injuries, he could have been one of our best...
Him and Eduardo both
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Not unlucky, look at the tackles done to him.
No shit, that's what the video is literally about
You just repeated what we just heard 😂
Wenger’s talent ID deserves a lot of praise. Often bought players on a shoestring budget in comparison with United, Chelsea and later on even City, and developed those players into brilliant prospectives. Even Sir Alex said in his autobiography that Arsenal under Arsene had a really good knack for developing players from all over Europe.
True, and being the first French coach in the EPL was a big advantage for him as well. He had a big rep in France and most french players wanted to play under him. It was also a golden generation of french players coming through at that time.
@@danhouw7972 100%. pires, vieira and later on nasri and giroud. also this bloke called thierry henry, wonder how he did
@@sohammishra2475 don’t forget Petit, Wiltord, Anelka, the list goes on.
The streets will never forget.
Diaby was fucking violated by a Sunday league player. He was a generational midfielder. Would have been one of the best in the world.
Yeah i rarely ever saw anyone get the better of Stephen Gerrard in midfield, but i remembered seeing Diaby play him off the park in a game.
He could’ve been another yaya Toure I always thought, a bit different to Vieira
Mannn, I love Yaya, but it is true. Helathy Diaby would just glide past people. It was crazy. Yaya would always be a better goal scorer though.
I said he was more talented than Yaya
Very elegant player
I cannot tell you how much I loved abou diaby. Absolute powerhouse of a player. A complete players player. I spent so many years hoping he could overcome his injuries and was absolutely heartbroken when I read the news that he was finally leaving arsenal. I still remember reading it on my phone on my lunch break and exactly where I was at the time. Fantastic talent.
He played in the champions league quarter final against us at Anfield 2nd leg and scored to put them ahead. They were all over us and I remember sitting in Anfield thinking these are too good especially with that Diaby running things…then he got injured and went off. After that the game changed for us, they didn’t look as dangerous at all. He was a great player.
From a Liverpool fan, I think he Could have been Yaya-esque for Arsenal
He killed us
Post-Invincible era had some incredible players
I liked Rosicky, Nasri, Cazorla, Song,
Van Persie was a killer
Arsenal players were targeted during that era. So many legs broken. Absolute disgrace from the PGMOL the way they allowed teams to try kick us off the pitch
It wasn’t just that era. In fact, I’d argue it’s only recently stopped - since about Arteta came and we now have the likes of Gabriel, Saliba and players who won’t tolerate such bonehead actions.
Happened to many players, didn’t it - Ramsey and Wilshere just to name a couple.
The team Arsene was trying to build post Invicibles is one of the greatest what could have beens in English football history like in the 07/08 season he was going against Fergies prime Man Utd with Cristiano and Chelsea both teams who made it to the Champions League final that season and he built that team with little to no money, everything was going so well until Eduardo got his foot almost broken off.
Y’all were very unfortunate with injuries. So much potential.
Life doesn't play fair.
Diaby and Wilshere are my 2 biggest what-ifs. That could’ve been our midfield until now 😢
What a player Diaby was just a shame injuries ruined him
I remember Diaby, I acknowledged how good he was even as a Leeds fan. Was always so sympathetic as he seemed to always be injured 😢
Diaby was him
I lament his injuries to this day, what a player
Diaby legit could have been one of the best midfielders in prem history , the natural ability was insane
I always said and will always argue he was more talented than Yaya. I can't think of anything Yaya did that Diaby couldn't do. Diaby was also a more technical finisher not just long range and also had more gas in the tank and defended better. He is one of the players i still feel bad we never got to see longer. I miss Eduardo too, what could've been. Teams would always target us and kick us around and play rough to stop us from being dominant
Liverpool fan here, I agree! Consigned to the world class players that could have been if not for injuries!
That tackle was a hatchet job jfc
So sad about this....Diaby was a monster! That tackle from Dan Smith was criminal......robbed Diaby of a great career
Big big facts , he was too good
Injuries create a ceiling... What makes Lampard so great... Never injured is a key attribute.... 'What if' is always a little short sighted.... Because we can say that about every attribute, what it Paul Scholes could defend... What if Frank Lampard had pace...
Mate he was absolutely class. Remember when he 1v2ed Joey barton and Kevin Nolan against Newcastle as well 🤣
I remember diaby as a 78 CDM worth 1000 coins on fifa Ultimate Team absolute gem I built a team around a 1000 coin card true story
Injuries play such a big role in someone's career
No shit
RM 😮
He hasnt managed diaby tho 🤔
His actual answer was a very long pause, then he said “nobody” then he started talking about Diaby.
Facts
Forgot all about him but he was a very good player
Absolute bollocks. Diaby was nowhere near the player Vieira was and it’s insane to say that, but for injuries, he could have emulated him and even surpassed him 😅 Get out of here.
Vieira's opinion> yours. Even then Arsenal fans would rave about how good diaby was
@@bilindabutcher8913 he’s being kind - he doesn’t really believe that. Diaby’s career was nothing compared to Vieira’s.
@@mrsbaylocksvideoemporium9621 of course his career isn't close to Vieira nobody will argue that but the potential and flashes were there which I think is what Patrick was saying
@@mrsbaylocksvideoemporium9621why you speaking for another man 😭 sort your life out
Mrs baylocks think she knows more than Vieira 😂
