Ugarte would be the perfect fit. Hardworking, very defensive. Not looking to be the superstar. He would become a fan favourite.
Tobido Ugarte & Zirkzee would be good upgrade business strengthening all areas of our team and hopefully trigger removal of unwanted players to fund these and future incoming transfers - big up Alice 👍

Ugarte to me could prove a good bit of business , especially being a physical and a defensive beast CM we lack. Also if not dynamic on the ball still quite efficient with it even under pressure. For the right fee likely a very advisable deal. The lack of Wieffer links is baffling to me , available very much on the cheap (30 million or so) and not saying the quality but style wise gives me Rodri vibes at times after making a point to watch him in matches here and there at various points of the season. Wieffer has it all - height / size , physicality , mobility , passing & carrying , solid defensively etc. Believe MW scored a handful of goals as well this past season. Especially that height with those attributes next to Kobbie would have been ideal.
And considering Casemiro and Eriksen both likely to go and Amrabat unlikely to be retained and i would personally sell Scott (but McT probably staying) ; we need two CMs signed anyway. Ugarte along with Wieffer or Fofana (Wieffer especially imo) would compliment Kobbie imo. Though Fofana i long had my doubts on anyway , Romano said numerous times he didn't think Fofana would end up at MUFC and a number of other clubs interested.
Ugarte can play single pivot in the right system. There isn't only one way to play football. High CBs, high energy CDM, 2 attacking 8s, full backs who know the role tucking in to add a plus 2 in deep midfield. It will work!
One worry is we just seemed linked to a number of players but not advancing beyond a certain level thus far with most of them. Lets see on Ugarte in coming days and weeks. But with other players - all we heard about for months was Olise and that never happened, Branthwaite and Todibo - Branthwaite expensive, difficult and liable to not happen , Todibo have to get around regulatory issues so who knows. Zirkzee to me is 50 / 50 at best, Milan very much still in the mix and can't trust that snake of an agent of his.
INEOS needs to start getting beyond the interest / monitoring phase and get a few of these deals sorted ; surely we need 2 or 3 signings before pre-season.
I'm sure we waiting for June 30 so that we begin another calendar year on a clean slate
@@lyonjunior9921 at this point the date is practically here but we could have conceivably agreed earlier deals pending that date or pending medicals that we arranged for after the date etc. There were ways to still agree deals not having to wait for that deadline. But lets just hope we get moving with these supposed deadlines being the point we will start getting deals done. If another week goes by with no movement that will clearly no long be an excuse ; lets see how it goes.

Obviously there's sell to buy, a 2nd CB and 2nd 6/8 midfielder, depending on who leaves. I'd also also like a LB.

Love the info you give, but there's one thing that I think you need to do all the time. You mention player's name's but not ALWAYS their position. And, personally, I think that's a vital part of any transfer speculation.
In terms of who goes I've got a get rid group, a prefer to sell, and a sell only for a good offer. There's also a couple I just don't think we can get rid of despite my wishes.
Get rid: Donny, Sancho. Greenwood, Lindelof, Cas and Eriksen
Prefer to Sell: McTominay, Malacia, Hanibal
Good offer only: Pellestri, Dalot (if we are getting a new RB, I'd want it to replace Dalot rather than AWB. Dalot is just too unreliable at the back and doesnt seem to know how to overlap)
Stuck with: Maguire and Antony. I just don't think anyone will pay the wages needed to get rid
