Been a believer for many years. I had one awakening when I was 18. Now I'm 41 and life still happened and got roughed up a little, but it was all for His glory. Been hungry for some meat and Tim puts the meat on the table! Very sound and insightful. Definitely need more people giving expository teachings.
I keep fail over and over how can GOD love me how could Christ forgive that. My heart could bust open from the utter disappointment and shame I bring to Christ.
Here in South Wales (UK), I can understand more now the depth of truth of God's Love and His justice. Something that was poured out in the 1904 revival but sadly, has been lost. As I heard the word "Nasa" and all that it means, my heart goes out to those who are not able to "let go and let God" free them. I pray that as I and others hear more through TIm's teaching and insight, there will be another flow of God's presence.
Hi Tim, You have helped me to understand just how close God is and how He so desires each one of us to know Him, personally. I love (and am thankful for) just how stubborn and persistent He has been, not to ever give up on me. Strange how my very best Friend has always been beside me, before me and behind me; and I didn’t see Him. Thank you.
There is so much depth and richness and intellect and wisdom in what Tim is teaching in this series that I have just never received in any of the churches I have ever attended, and I have to say that it is filling up my mind and soul so much more than any other sermon I’ve ever listened to. I feel like modern American Protestantism is very formulaic, and they just read one verse at the top share an anecdote about their personal life and then have an altar call, but there’s no real biblical teaching or where any to the scriptures, at least from what I’ve been exposed to. This whole series from Tim is really opening up my eyes.
I never quite understood that Jesus was the One who was meant to build God's temple, using living stones like us, and not Salomon, who did a "temple" using stones. Thank you for your teachings. They seem so simple and evident, yet they are profound and I needed you to point them out, for I never got the big picture of the Bible before in such a deep manner. It's really mind blowing for me. I'm almost 40 years old, but I'm really learning everyday with you! Thanks for sharing your videos! Bless you !

I like this teaching, not to say preaching in church is n good but this brings a good basic understanding of the Bible, I feel this is needed and very helpful for people that have a hard time with how they wrote back then and what they meant, thank you Tim for this presentation.

It's such a realization, the past is giving us the picture of the present and the future, and, until we realize that working together under one, Loving and Merciful God and believe, then the future will come, we have to want this, and, want anyone willing to see and listen to what this is all about, the Good News is scary, and revitalizing, if your scared, you might need to rethink how you life is going for the benefit of everyone else, if your a believer, then you must know persecution is right behind the door, waiting for you to call out to who is the true and righteous Judge is, when the time comes, I hope we know who to sing too, the One that has been with us from the beginning, with that agape love, always caring and Merciful if we ask. We know what is Good and Evil now, the past was still learning, but we know now, from the past, it's just going to keep going in a spiraling path until we know when to resist and say "get out of here Satan." The deceiver will come for all of us, and in that moment, we always know who to look towards, the God that has been giving us hope, and all very Good news. If you can think of that kind of love for you, for your neighbor and for God, then we are ready right!? Love you all! Lets go!
Tim, this is a great example of one in a few problems I have with the Old Testament…. How can a being of infinite and un fathomable power of God have human emotions such as hurt and jealousy? And if such a great being experiences these emotions then who does it turn to for advice or therapy? This line of thinking that God has human emotions is crazy to me HOWEVER if Yahweh the Alpha and Omega needs a hug then I whole heartedly volunteer for the job. 🤩
Where might you suggest our emotions came from? Also, to hurt is to deeply care. And if you care to study the hebrew, you’ll see that the hebrew word for jealousy (qanna) that God uses for himself refers to covenant relationship, where the human expression of jealousy (qinnah) is often closer related to envy.

Usually, for possessive names, in English, we add " 's" for example: - "Mark's" but for any name that already ends with "s," there's no need to add another, so it would be written as "Jesus' " but most people still pronounce it as "Jesus's." Tim's accent may sound slightly different but these are the basic grammatical concepts. Jesus' name was a very common name and is actually the Hebrew name "Yeshua" but when translating His name from new testament Greek (Iēsous), we get the English form "Jesus."

3:09 the book was written after the judeans who had been anticipating the arrival of the anointed one of god had jesus crucified. the writer's intense intention was to prove jesus was the very one they had been waiting for. he used prophecies to prove this: the prophecy about him being from the line of david-so he started with genealogy; he was to be born of a virgin; where he was going to be born; and went on to use many other prophecies that statistically-wise would prove that if all these happened on one man, there is absolute certainty he is it. this was not an plain issue of "style."

This is probably a question I should address to God in prayer but curious if others have also asked it: If God blesses people who rebel against Him and hate him because that is His character, why does He not act that way toward the serpent who deceives Adam and Eve? Is it because the serpent is not a human being and is a different kind of being? Or is He just demonstrating His justice (aka fair consequences) upon the serpent (who is also His creation)? My inclination is toward the latter...
Because Yahweh is your heavenly Father as he is to your Earthly Father. Earthly Fathers come and go but your Father in heaven is eternal and he definately will not let you down or forsake you. Believe in HIM and forgive your Earthly Father, as Jesus said " Forgive them Father, they dont know what they do" your Earthly Father is part of the "they".
This is a deep and difficult thing to overcome and not something that you can just make happen. We were created to have a relationship with God, that means there is a huge trust and commitment aspect. As you will know, relationships don't just suddenly happen, they need attention, active communication, dialogue, action. This is the same with God. The character of God the Father is seen in His son Jesus - how He said & did all things, His interactions, His heart. If you can actively walk this journey with Him, He will reveal His good character to you more & more and He will gradually soften your heart towards Him. Earthly parents may have been made in God's image (intended to represent Him) but they don't necessarily actually do it that well, if at all. We fall short of God's grace even when we think we're doing well - we're so blessed that He is patient with us, desiring to draw us to Himself & fill us with His character which is, "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness & self-control." the fruit of the Spirit. I hope you're doing OK a year after you posted this.
So I have been trying to figure something out and I can't really find a coherent reliable answer. What was Jesus' real name. As in, what Aramaic name would his Mother have used when speaking to him? Also, if the name of our Messiah is so powerful, why don't we use the same name that Peter would have used when healing the beggar at the gate of the temple. In other words, what would Peter have said in Aramaic when he spoke, In the name if Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk?"

Hmm 🤔….Interesting Yahweh God says to the serpent “You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life”. This is more proof that evil days are numbered. I wonder if this means that the satan shall surely die as well? Yahweh God also says, “And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel”. This scripture is also foreshadowing the inevitable return of Christ. God sealed the serpents fate along with all evil right then and there. I wonder what God meant by causing hostility between the woman and the serpent. Why was the woman and the serpents relationship the focal point? Is this just a reference to Christ ultimately prevailing over evil? Or, more foreshadowing regarding child bearing? Consequently the Nephilim? Or is there a deeper meaning to this? It's good to hear the speaker refer to God as Yahweh. Yahweh is one. Another title for him is the Father. Jesus is not Yahweh. Jesus is the Messiah, the human Son of God (others as well are children of God but Jesus is unique, the firstborn from the dead). Jesus the Messiah was, and is, a human person, raised from the dead by Yahweh, seated at the right hand of Yahweh.

It's such a realization, the past is giving us the picture of the present and the future, and, until we realize that working together under one, Loving and Merciful God and believe, then the future will come, we have to want this, and, want anyone willing to see and listen to what this is all about, the Good News is scary, and revitalizing, if your scared, you might need to rethink how you life is going for the benefit of everyone else, if your a believer, then you must know persecution is right behind the door, waiting for you to call out to who is the true and righteous Judge is, when the time comes, I hope we know who to sing too, the One that has been with us from the beginning, with that agape love, always caring and Merciful if we ask. We know what is Good and Evil now, the past was still learning, but we know now, from the past, it's just going to keep going in a spiraling path until we know when to resist and say "get out of here Satan." The deceiver will come for all of us, and in that moment, we always know who to look towards, the God that has been giving us hope, and all very Good news.
If you can think of that kind of love for you, for your neighbor and for God, then we are ready right!? Love you all! Lets go!

Tim, this is a great example of one in a few problems I have with the Old Testament…. How can a being of infinite and un fathomable power of God have human emotions such as hurt and jealousy? And if such a great being experiences these emotions then who does it turn to for advice or therapy? This line of thinking that God has human emotions is crazy to me HOWEVER if Yahweh the Alpha and Omega needs a hug then I whole heartedly volunteer for the job. 🤩
Where might you suggest our emotions came from? Also, to hurt is to deeply care. And if you care to study the hebrew, you’ll see that the hebrew word for jealousy (qanna) that God uses for himself refers to covenant relationship, where the human expression of jealousy (qinnah) is often closer related to envy.

Usually, for possessive names, in English, we add " 's" for example: - "Mark's" but for any name that already ends with "s," there's no need to add another, so it would be written as "Jesus' " but most people still pronounce it as "Jesus's." Tim's accent may sound slightly different but these are the basic grammatical concepts. Jesus' name was a very common name and is actually the Hebrew name "Yeshua" but when translating His name from new testament Greek (Iēsous), we get the English form "Jesus."

This is probably a question I should address to God in prayer but curious if others have also asked it: If God blesses people who rebel against Him and hate him because that is His character, why does He not act that way toward the serpent who deceives Adam and Eve? Is it because the serpent is not a human being and is a different kind of being? Or is He just demonstrating His justice (aka fair consequences) upon the serpent (who is also His creation)? My inclination is toward the latter...
i also hear in that latter passage the saddness of the Creator. What about His laments?

This is a deep and difficult thing to overcome and not something that you can just make happen. We were created to have a relationship with God, that means there is a huge trust and commitment aspect.
As you will know, relationships don't just suddenly happen, they need attention, active communication, dialogue, action. This is the same with God.
The character of God the Father is seen in His son Jesus - how He said & did all things, His interactions, His heart.
If you can actively walk this journey with Him, He will reveal His good character to you more & more and He will gradually soften your heart towards Him.
Earthly parents may have been made in God's image (intended to represent Him) but they don't necessarily actually do it that well, if at all. We fall short of God's grace even when we think we're doing well - we're so blessed that He is patient with us, desiring to draw us to Himself & fill us with His character which is, "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness & self-control." the fruit of the Spirit.

It's good to hear the speaker refer to God as Yahweh. Yahweh is one. Another title for him is the Father. Jesus is not Yahweh. Jesus is the Messiah, the human Son of God (others as well are children of God but Jesus is unique, the firstborn from the dead). Jesus the Messiah was, and is, a human person, raised from the dead by Yahweh, seated at the right hand of Yahweh.
I wish all the gospels were available including Mary Magdoline also Judas , also the book of Enoch is part of Genesis and should be in the bible.
