Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video! It certainly was simple, but in no way do I mean that in a bad way. I was quite surprised at how well it turned out for only 3 hours of work!
I think you did a great job with what the kit gave you, I'm just not sure on the kit itself - the fuselage angles don't seem sharp enough to my eye, bit then again this is 1/144 scale!
Yeah, I had a similar thought but I'm not as solid on my F-117's as I am on other planes lol. If this was terribly more expensive, $10 or even $15 USD, I dunno that it would have been worth it. Well... ok, *I'd* probably still have fun with it, but we all know I'm easy to please lol! At that price I dunno that I'd recommend it to others necessarily.
@@fenrismodels I think (as with most models), it depends on price and expectations. If you just want a quick fun build for a few dollars, that's great. At a higher price point you might well be expecting more in the way of accuracy, build time etc....the great thing is we have a wide range to choose from
That looks superb as a mojo build. 😊 My suggestion if You'd be doing any next F-117: www.thedrive.com/content-b/message-editor%2F1624050419807-yf-117pastelcamo.jpg
It's a great little build, hope you have fun with it! I did make mention in the unboxing portion that the canopy had no demarcations for the canopy frame. Not just shallow lines; there are no lines whatsoever. And at 1/144, it's a bit too small to freehand, at least for me. Well, too small to freehand and have it look anywhere near decent. So I opted to leave it all clear.
Great video matey.. nicely finished on that kit.. nice simple build

@@MannsModelMoments 100% on the nose, I agree with you! And these days, we're almost spoiled for choice when it comes to certain subjects haha!

Haha quite possibly! I'm not super partial to the F-117, but it'd be neat to have that one in my collection, just due to the uniqueness of it!
Nice kit and essentially it worked out at $1/hr
Which is not a bad return on investment at all!
I have the same model in my stash. I think you forgot to paint the canopy 😅

@@fenrismodels Sorry, I watched it while doing other stuff, did not pay that much attention to be fair 😔
