I wouldn't describe these features as BANNED, simply not feasible economically. Full sized spare tyres are still available in Australia on some models because we drive vast distances with little civilisation in between.
I really like people who try to make videos about things they really know little about. None of these things were "banned". You can find more and more accurate info with a Google search than he provides here. The floor mounted dimmer switch was phased out starting in the late 1960s or early 1970s with the control generally being moved to the turn signal stalk. In the early days of cars with 6 volt systems, the headlights were a large current draw item. It took a large switch and wire to handle the current and one would want a short run of wire to minimize voltage drop and cost. By the 1970s, cars started using relays to handle the high current so smaller wiring and light duty switches inside the car would work well.
The only reason the spare tired changed to get less for more money. Some new vehicle's have no spare but a can of filler for a flat. Most people don't realize the metal body parts are mixed with plastic and so is the paint.
Okay, the dimmer switch NEVER had all of those functions. It's been the same function since its inception, switching the vehicle's headlamps between high beam and low beam. Nothing else. I hope he's just trying to be funny and not completely off his rocker.

Rear hindge doors still exist though and so do full size spare tires. 🙄
My 2013 Mercury Grand Marquis came standard with a full sized tire, and I love it!

My 06 Toyota Avalon had a full size spare tire
Wouldn't buy a car without a spare tyre

You can still get suicide doors on pickup trucks.
So not totally banned!
