I bought this syringe from Amazon a few days ago to address the blockage in my left ear. I woke up one morning with a blockage and slight ear ache. I couldn't hear anything and I knew right away that it was hardened ear wax that was pushed in towards the ear drum by my practice of using Q-Tips to clean my ears. I used 3% Hydrogen Peroxide twice a day to soften the wax by pouring it into my left ear for 5 minutes. I did this 3 days straight and I finally used this syringe tonight to remove the huge ball of wax lodged deep in my ear canal. It took about ten tries(squirts) before it fell out from the pressure of the warm water. Just be patient and don't apply too much force when pushing down the plunger. There shouldn't be any pain whatsoever; just a little pressure in the ear canal. At Last, "I can HEAR Again!"
Perfect explanation, great video, Doc. My auntie did use Olive oil. As you said, after 4-5 days during the night, the dirt fell off her ears, and started to say, "I can hear again." Stop speaking so loudly. 😂
Hi im 25 and ive had this specific issue twice now, its pretty straightforward to solve but I'm wondering what habits a professional would recommend for me to reduce the risk of this happening? I dont use earphones or cotton buds. I think the regular activity to prevent is to chew hard foods since that encourages the wax to he pushed out. I welcome any advice
I get lots of ear wax during allergy season. I don’t think there’s anything I can do to prevent it, other than staying indoors with windows closed and using an air purifier.
Studies I've read seem to suggest olive oil doesn't do anything more than add a bit of lubrication. Water is probably equally if not more effective and it might be OK to just add a few drops of water around 30 minutes before irrigation. I wonder if distilled water might be a good alternative to boiling water, esp. as boiled water might be slightly alkaline which is not good for the ear.
@@Marigold-ip3gw It contains numerous compounds and not only lipids. The studies I saw seemed to suggest oil drops are no more effective than water. I had no luck with olive oil myself. Water dissolves some of the wax but isn't entirely effective either.
yes, water dissolves it quicker, but the drawback is that the water dries up in the ear, while the oil does not; you'd have to lie on your side for say an hour using water, and irrigate it straight away you could also try petroleum jelly
So I was recommended by my doctor to not use cotton buds to clean my ears as it makes it worse by pushing the wax further inside. I then normally get a syringe session done at the hospital which clears everything for a while. I’m very curious and want to do it on my own as it seems quite easy. What do you recommend?
I checked your link and unfortunately I can't buy your product because I live in the United States. But your video was still educational and deserves a like.
Thank you so much for this video. It’s the best I’ve seen and the most intuitive I’ve been putting in the eardrops in for a couple of days and I’ve ordered the syringe. Thanks again. Ps I subscribe to your channel also
I just finished to remove all earwax in my ears with ear bulb syringe, with some bicarbonate in water, using tools clean special ear and with help of an ear removal camera. They were useful I feel my ear so good empty . The only thing now , all earwax stocked in my ears were to much in contact so hard on my skin inside ( sry my English) but now after removing, it’s red , I guess its reaction of skin freedom 😅. But what serum to use to calm down my ears skin insides?
Thanks for the video, I’m 31 and have always had ears blocking up specifically my right one it’s just happened this morning after trying to clean out I must of pushed some wax further in the canal, over the last 10-15 years I’ve had to have my ear syringed maybe 3 times at the doctors but it always worries me with the little water jet they use if it’s going to perforate my drum, would you say this method is less abrasive and less likely to cause an issue as I may try and do this at home and not go to the doctors this time thanks
There is a lot of contradictory information about what to put in your ear before irrigation. In some videos, it suggests that ear wax is not softened by olive oil, and suggests using sodium hydrogen carbonate solution instead. My experience is that NaHCO3 solution does soften the wax, but doesn't necessarily make it easy to flush out, and I wonder if the olive oil may loosen the wax without softening it, making it easier to remove. In the US, they tend to suggest using hydrogen peroxide solution - I don't really like the idea of that!
I feel like i still have water in my ear. I've had my head tilted for a while and shake and shake but nothing. What do it do? I can sorta hear little pops.
I dont have any money to buy stuff like these but planning to get one. I do my homemade solution but the problem is the mineral oil which I use to soften the earwax will become stuck because the earwax blocked my ear completely and barely lets any fluid flow through in my ear. How am I supposed to get out this waste😢
No one should be doing that too themselves 🙄. A perforated ear drum is agony Mt ear is totally blocked but nhs font so ot now so bsttle on with olive oil or pay private us only way. Definitely not risking syringing my own ear
Help I went to urgent care and it hurt they put ear drops but it burn I went to the hospital to try to drain my ear they did terrible now one ear is clogged 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Hi! How can I clean ear at home after an chirurgical survey? Is it damage? I hope you Will see this comment and writes a response soon. My doctor recommended me to clean ear with boric alchool.
I just did this for the first time. Been using Earole for about 3 days. One ear is blocked, other isn’t and has been cause by a long term flu. Did it and it felt like the water push around the blockage at some point as now I have a small amount of water behind the blockage. How should I proceed?
I've used a large syringe from the farm supply store(throw away the needle if it is included) fill a large measuring cup with slightly warm water and hold head sideways over the bathroom sink. Suirt water with some force but not enough to hurt. After 10 or 20 squirts, brown wax chunks will be seen in sink, water should flow out of ear quickly. If no chunks seen in 20 squirts, plan to let doctor do it cause they have special scopes to see in ear and scrapers that won't damage eardrum.
I can't hear what he said in the video

I couldn't find the tip of that syringe in my country, anywhere I asked they just gave me the syringe only. What else can be used instead of that?

Yes because it’s called by the ears

You’re very welcome
Wait so. I do this the olive oil drop for 5 days, THEN do the water thing right?
Can I use oregano oil?
no
I perforated my drum from that syringe. My fault for being too aggressive. Now I have air and whistle sounds from the ear from time to time.
