Something about this ost is so magical. It starts off eerie but hidden with this welcoming feeling. As if the truth is only unveiling slowly throughout the ost. Where in the middle everything is spiraling and what you thought was a beautiful paradise, ended up being a place where you'll face a terrible demise like everyone else who stepped onto the land of Bélóstáin. Nearing the end, freedom seems out of reach but there's just that little spur of hope that keeps you going. The ending reminds me of Rosemary (Grace's new skin) to put it more precisely. I think that she is perhaps afraid of something because she knows the truth of this place. She cannot speak freely because something or someone is holding her back. But she is warning the people in other ways that could help them avoid that terrible demise I spoke of earlier. That's how I at least picture the song even if that isn't truly the case. The amount of emotions that you feel or I at least feel through the ost is extraordinary.
Ngl, the anniversary is actually making me consider coming back to idv. I mean, I havent been this in love in an anniversary aesthetic and ost since Atropos' Ropes. Well, this and also I just miss the chaotic nature of the matches, even if they do get toxic or frustrating
Every anniversary seems to have more and more content. Hearing this in the first part gets you hyped when you get dozens of details about the island.....
As someone who loves dissecting the instruments used in a piece, I was really in love with the theme. The strumming, the plucking of bowstrings, the light usage of the chimes as well as the piano in the background really adds to the theme of this event, even the meek humming and music box at the beginning. A sound so gentle, yet in a different context, sounds really eery...!!! It's great!!! (Though if I had one complaint, it'd be that the second the drums start while idly examining things in a relaxed fashion during the event... it doesn't really fit the mysterious detective theme I pictured. But it's good on its own lol) I find it really cool how the 2nd anniversary's music focused more on sounding jazzy and grand, just like america's 1920s; While in this event, if I could compare it to a certain genre of music somewhere in the world... let's say umm.. venice? Paris? Somewhere around there. Which makes sense given truth and inference travelled to a foreign island by boat so of course the music would be different. It's a really good theme!!! I'm just certain this event will be one of my favorites. Thank you for posting this asap, hope you have a great season (and pulls)!
AAAAAH another person that loves dissecting instruments in music! We have to share our views together it could be interesting! Tell me if you want to talk about musical stull bc i certainly do.
@@silhouette6136 oh my!! My ears have only ever been informally trained, so I'm not much of a professional when it comes to the more meticulous stuff regarding music theory and the likes so Im sure your opinions on this piece + other osts used in idv would be much more informative than mine hehe ^_^ but yes Id love to hear it sometime!
I would say: - 2nd Anniversary (Atropos Ropes) focused on the theatre stage set in 1920s, which is why it was so jazzy and all that stuff. Hell, Kroto even looks like a flapper. - 4th Anniversary (The Shrouded Belostain) focuses more on the traditional folk music, much like an island from afar. I would say this feels more Venetian than Parisian, but I guess it's just up to the listener.
Place at its finest In July they came And met in August For flowers they were named They stayed and dwelt in September Bathing in the sun O sway she let down her guard Grow grow lurking Datura Feeding up Rosemary who couldn't let go of discards Night and night stood a loof from the light Down and down fell in to addictions and took delight Time and time behind the curtain he hid Till that came into sight Place at its finest Bélóstáin Where passionate vines often chase the butterflies A place with fragrances Bélóstáin And now to dust the flower has returned

So... turns out rosemary isnt entirely the killer and that sway, datura and tuberose are the real suspicious people
@@jeongna Can you please help me understand why Datura was under house arrest and why Rosemary began to run Belostayn instead of Datura?

I love idv's anniversary songs. My favorite has got to be the 2nd anniv
i need this song injected into my blood
Same honestly
European and ellegant style, with drama, suspense and a story about a flower Island, the plot is so interesting that i can't wait for the last chapter
The game takes place in Europe,so...
