Thankyou , hoping to get back on track again , started raw vegan then got distracted by a new partner and went back to ordinary vegan that included processed food . Now a year later he left and I want to get my health back and rebuild my life so really appreciate your videos . Thankyou so very much. Ps I am 72 and recovering from a fall where I broke 9 ribs so my life has been pretty painful for last three months. Still not healed but getting there .

Q: I used to make smoothies like yours, but I read somewhere that eating frozen fruits is not as healthy as fresh fruits; something about the nutritional value gets burnt with the freezing temperatures, kind of like eating cooked foods - do you know anything about that? And my request is a video where you address how to expect our bodies to get rid of cravings for cooked foods and animal products. I know you’ve mentioned that you went raw vegan cold turkey, and kudos to you, but some of us struggle 😞. Like I can be raw vegan for a week or a month but then I go back to eat junk foods and everything else, even super unhealthy foods. If you addressed those issues in another video or interview, would you kindly let me know which one so I can watch it? Thank you very much, and thank you for your videos and for being awesome! 🌷
hey ! I filmed a great vid recently about cravings will share it soon !! it's so good ! and yeah I do agree that whole foods not blended are most ideal and in my opinion better ! but I still do have smoothies and stuff sometimes but I actually never used to eat frozen stuff ever.

Thanks for sharing this info. Just some ideas to help viewing and using the recipes. Could you bring the camera closer to see things, in the first example the equipment was covering the view. Could you provide estimates of amounts rather than saying do what you want, that's doesn't help if you are new to recipes (eg you mention that when using hemp seeds). Then we have to go to another video to find details, why would we watch this then go somewhere else to get the info? Hopefully these points will help to make a better viewer experience. Just idea to consider. Thanks

Would you ever consider cooking foods that heat has proven to express greater nutritional value and easier absorption of like tomatoes, carrots, orange bell peppers, etc.? Great video and I love that your daughter joined in today! What a beautiful little helper!

I made the pasta sauce and zoodles and it has the BEST tangy flavor!!! My only problem was by the time we ate it all there was a lot of water(juice?) in bowl. How can i avoid that?
yes you're absolutely right they do eat cooked ! I think everyone has to find what works for them and the raw absolutely works for me ,))) I also think the gut microbiome can still gain strength with cooked plant foods as well I think so much of it comes down to our gut microbiome and eating a wide variety of plant foods for most people I tried a blue zones diet before I was raw and it was ok I am way better raw tho! In those places they have the ☀️ too which is amazing
My smoothies constantly gelatinize. Can you do a video just on smoothies. I even switched my blenders from a Blendtech to a Vitamix and is still gelatinzes my smoothies and I end up have to throw it out and I have been wasting so much ingredients. I don't understand why they keep gelatinzing and seperating and tasting horrible! (Your daughter is super cute btw)
Holy moly that's a LOT of fruit in a smoothie. BTW, you don't need any of that supplements. Honestly, the best way to eat is just eat mono meals, one specific food at a time.
hey there !! yes if you watch my what I eat in a day you will see I eat mono fruits A LOT of the time and do a lot of mono fruit cleanses & do agree one food at a time is ideal ! still sometimes I like meals and this video is 5 fun meals I love ! As far as supplements go - I became very deficient 3 years in as a raw vegan Not supplementing. I did not believe in them them and now I absolutely do and thrive with them ! But to each their Own ! You gotta do what works for YOU ! xox
@@GillianBerry I agree whatever works, but I think a lot of the deficiencies come from mixing all those foods, adding salt, herbs, etc making it hard to digest. Now, I'm not saying it doesn't taste good. I just think it's a common mistake for most people that eat raw is too blend way too many things together and adding a bunch of salts etc. (basically to consume most of their diet blended instead of mono) BTW, what were you deficient in? It wouldn't be much of a video if you just ate a mango. 🤣
Hey Gillian, I found you through Vegetable Police. I like your videos! Just one comment. In the future you might want to improve the audio (I can hear an echo), maybe with a shotgun mic or something like that. Audio is more important than video in these videos.

You know what it's only in this kitchen I get the echo ans it's becuase it's not my kitchen it's an open space studio I was going to becuase my kitchen at home has no windows ,() But I agree audio is super key I'm a big perfectionist over it ! I am just gonna start filming then in my own kitchen instead anyaay tho for a few different reasons so we won't be dealing with the echo anymore 😁 or the stress of me carrying the vitamix and 10 different boxes of foods up 10 flights of stairs to film there 🤣

hey there !! yes if you watch my what I eat in a day you will see I eat mono fruits A LOT of the time and do a lot of mono fruit cleanses & do agree one food at a time is ideal ! still sometimes I like meals and this video is 5 fun meals I love !
As far as supplements go - I became very deficient 3 years in as a raw vegan Not supplementing. I did not believe in them them and now I absolutely do and thrive with them ! But to each their Own ! You gotta do what works for YOU ! xox
@@GillianBerry I agree whatever works, but I think a lot of the deficiencies come from mixing all those foods, adding salt, herbs, etc making it hard to digest. Now, I'm not saying it doesn't taste good. I just think it's a common mistake for most people that eat raw is too blend way too many things together and adding a bunch of salts etc. (basically to consume most of their diet blended instead of mono)
BTW, what were you deficient in?

Hey Gillian, I found you through Vegetable Police. I like your videos! Just one comment. In the future you might want to improve the audio (I can hear an echo), maybe with a shotgun mic or something like that. Audio is more important than video in these videos.
Hey ! Yes ! You know what it's only in this kitchen I get the echo ans it's becuase it's not my kitchen it's an open space studio I was going to becuase my kitchen at home has no windows ,() But I agree audio is super key I'm a big perfectionist over it ! I am just gonna start filming then in my own kitchen instead anyaay tho for a few different reasons so we won't be dealing with the echo anymore 😁 or the stress of me carrying the vitamix and 10 different boxes of foods up 10 flights of stairs to film there 🤣

i think it's this! 1/2 avocado, juice 1 lemon, 1 cup water, dash olive oil optional, sea salt optional a pinch, 1 tablespoon dried oregano! i originally saw it in a doug mcnish vid on here and tried it - so easy and good!!! makes you feel good after too
