      Telemarq i did a comparison with thenx, fitnessfaq and them. I ended up chosing them.I tried barstarz, barbrothers, frankmedrano in the past. i would recommend them because they have something new to offer in the sense they dont just want you to go for reps but quality and control and this is pretty rare in workout programs. dosent means others are not good but their workout will be a good place to start.

    Hi, Calisthenicmovement I´ve hear from a physical educator with certifications in ACE, ACSM, NSCA, USA-weightlifting than hyperextending the shoulder produces the tilting of the scapula and moving the head of the humerus towards the anterior portion of the joint capsule, it brokens the scapulohumeral rhythm, so more extension it don't implies more chest activation and it is highly risk

      If you do your own research it will be better because you will learn more. I mean real research though, and not just reading some “top 10 health foods” article and watching UA-cam videos about eating healthy. Learn things like how many calories are in carbs, proteins, and fats, or how many calories are in certain amounts of food so you can get the same amount every day, or find out what is bad for you and stop eating it (sugar is a very easy one to figure out. It’s bad for you and you don’t need it at all).

    Very detailed explanations, def one of the best! But I got a question, since you said, "Explosive push-ups are not the best for muscle building?" I assume, you mean aesthetically way (body builders), right? Then what's the best benefit for doing explosive push-ups? Mind muscle connection perhaps?

    Probably most calisthenists want max functional muscle, not muscle size per se. Smallest muscle that leverages the maximum amount of functionality. It'll be plenty big enough with that recipe.... Bodybuilding for size and definition is a great sport, but perhaps not the main focus of calisthenics.

    • @Skulltroxx
      @Skulltroxx 6 років тому +4

      @Benny Nielsen nothing's wrong with the powder, it's just that, in my mind, taking PROTEIN powders seem to be an artificial way of growing muscles. (Basically, it's just for personal satisfaction.)

    • @mikadotakimura

      Protein from foods and protein powders give the same benifits.....it's just that protein powders are more convenient to have........and if u don't know ...whey protein is made from that water which is separated from milk in the cheese making process......so it's not something artificial (SAFE)......u can definitely get a great physique from just food.. ......but in case u aren't able to complete ur protein requirement then u can definitely add protein powders to ur diet without any hesitation..

    I now think higher reps are better. Guys in the gym who were jacked used to tell me this all the time and I didn't listen...and then...the pandemic happened and I turned to pushups (diamond, regular, and wide). My build looks much better simply from pushups and biceps curls once a week and long distance walking once or twice a week. Literally nothing else. No weights. I'm the same weight but look even better than I did doing all the free weight exercises and machines in the gym. The only thing I think I need to add to the regime is a pullup/chin-up bar, and possibly some jump roping. Working with your own body weight is the way to go. I think this is because of total VOLUME.
