I've been saying this for years! people tend to overlook astro just because their dance is not that "hip-hop" influenced but jazzier, and yet their choreo is harder than most "powerful hip hop" dances, and they have fewer members than bigger groups known for crazy synchronization, and yet I seriously see them as one of the most synchronized groups at the moment, and rocky! that man is criminally underrated

in the seventeen one, minghao (the8) made a really smart solution! The part where he made a knee spin is a part where he normally does some sort of flip, generally a barrel roll, he obviously wouldn't have gotten that at this speed, so he did smth cool to replace it.

So glad you saw ASTRO's Baby choreo in 2x speed! It's one of my favorite songs from them! They actually have a lot of really good songs, but unfortunately many people turn a blind eye to them. The reason I like them is because they're so refreshing to listen and watch because they are just so energetic and their songs have their own color! I would personally recommend giving All Night (the MV is aesthetic, the song is good and the dance is cute yet sexy), When You Call My Name (Adorable and a lot more fun than serious), Crazy Sexy Cool (chill but love the vibes), Should've Held On (really sad), Moonwalk (Really tiring dance), and Blue Flame (really powerful (look for the 6 members version though))

Astro most difficult thing is their choreography which is really difficult to learn seem easy but very difficult 😂😂 am also dancer for it was easy to learn bts.. exo...Ab6ix.. golchaa it was difficult still i did😂😂 But for astro i took more effort their movements was kindaa difficult hands and legs movements are just 😭😭 I can say am a multi stan too... While I think in reality it is more like 1.5 or 1.7 the speed it is still impressive how well some can do this tiring choreos. Seventeen being just incredible for it being 13 guys. You should check out the girl groups too. Gfriend are of course the queens in "2x" (did it first, did 3 dances back to back, did random play dance in 2x) but there are some other great ones too like Red Velvet Peek-a-boo and Dumb Dumb

The guy in the pink was DongWoo and he is the group's main rapper and now -- since Hoya left -- main dancer. Infinite was the group that really made Weekly Idol popular. I think they were the first group to air but they certainly were on a lot and were very funny. They are mostly in the military right now. Most of the stuff you can find on them is pretty dated but it is very sharp. Two of the best voices in KPOP too. Also pretty boy L is a good actor too.
Seventeen rly are something else if its about dancing. They’re literal dancing gods especially their synchronization. My opinion is probably biased but i still like theirs best
You should watch more SHINee on Weekly Idol. They're always hilarious there. And so savage lol. SHINee also did the rollercoaster dance challenge where they have to dance while the MC randomly changes the speed of the song between 0.5x, normal and 2x... it's awesome!!
the first 2x that i watched was GOT7 If you do and it's still to this day my favorite also it's what made me want to know more about GOT7 and my second favorite of course Astro!
Came back here after your reactıon to Infinite and realized no one ever explained you what happened with Infinite here. Infinite was the first ever group as guests in Weekly Idol and appeared so many more times after that. Most of the show's new segments were first tested on Infinite such as random Play dance and 2x dance. Their leader Sungkyu (the guy showed with the arrow at the beginning) always made the group fail at random play dance with his mistakes even though they are the literal definition of knife-like dancing in Kpop. He even won 'Why can't you dance to your own dance' award of Weekly Idol for many years consecutively. In that episode their managers got punished for their mistakes so they deliberately made more mistakes for fun. But the MCs gave them one last chance to do it properly and if they succeed the manager would pay with the company card for their wishes but the manager said they can't succeed; so they were like we aren't going for fun this time, we'll really do it.I think that's the only time they actually properly danced in the show in 7 years.That's why every one is shocked. Every one(Mcs,managers,producers and staff) is also amazed because they were the first and only group to sing & rap live during 2X dancing.

Infinite, the first group, and Shinee are the two groups (and BoA) that basically are the reason why kpop has such great and is famous for choreographies - kpop always had choreographies but it wasn't as intricate or sharp until they really stepped up the game. Infinite got famous and is known as the group with 'knifelike' choreography. All the groups in this video are basically recognized as the best dancing male groups in kpop (with maybe a few new 4gen groups that could be added and an odd 2nd gen group like Vixx).
the most satisfying to watch is Seventeen's don't wanna cry 2x speed... the synchronization is so amazing. i remember this is how i discover seventeen watching their 2x speed dance in weekly idol
The first (and best) 2x speed was Super Junior, because 1) Haechel only comes in for the last 10 seconds of each dance and 2) epic fail of a second song. I had only seen Blackpink before and I watched them on the show and UA-cam randomly played them next, that exact episode in English. After the episode I looked up all their songs as well as the girl guest MC, Hani’s group EXID.

My first 2x speed was with Got7 which was the group I was stanning that time then I came across to Don't wanna cry of Seventeen and I was so so amazed. And I became a fan since then.
Infinite was the first synchronized boy group, then came Seventeen. I hope you will react to their songs.

MM, the first one is Infinite dancing to their iconic song Be Mine, every kpop idols would know the song and some practiced Infinite's choreo during their trainee days. React to them, they are just like their name, Infinite Talent, Infinite Charms,
Infinite are known for their "knife-dance" (because their choreo is so clean and sharp). However, on the opposite end of the spectrum they also won Weekly Idol's "It's your song, why can't you dance to it???" award 3-4 years in a row I think. Would highly suggest checking out their Random Play Dance segments because they're equal parts talented and hilarious in them lol
For SHINee, Leader Onew, the guy on the side was injured at that time, so SHINee just adjusted the choreo during the 2x Dance Challenge to compensate for Onew’s supposed positions in Sherlock.
The guy on the side on the Shinee clip is Onew. I believe he was injured at that time so he had to opt out. I can barely dance so kudos to the idols dancing 2x speed!
The first group is called INFINITE who debuted in 2010. They are the king of Synchoronization since 2nd generation of Kpop. Please check them out and they will impress you especially their dance practice video. The well known scorpion dance is created by Infinite.
1st group is Infinite with song Be Mine they are like one of the blueprint of synchronized dancing and they held that title for a long time.
2nd group is Shinee that black top guy is their leader he was injured so he cannot join

Infinite was the group that really made Weekly Idol popular. I think they were the first group to air but they certainly were on a lot and were very funny. They are mostly in the military right now. Most of the stuff you can find on them is pretty dated but it is very sharp. Two of the best voices in KPOP too. Also pretty boy L is a good actor too.

You should watch more SHINee on Weekly Idol. They're always hilarious there. And so savage lol.
SHINee also did the rollercoaster dance challenge where they have to dance while the MC randomly changes the speed of the song between 0.5x, normal and 2x... it's awesome!!

Came back here after your reactıon to Infinite and realized no one ever explained you what happened with Infinite here.
Infinite was the first ever group as guests in Weekly Idol and appeared so many more times after that. Most of the show's new segments were first tested on Infinite such as random Play dance and 2x dance.
Their leader Sungkyu (the guy showed with the arrow at the beginning) always made the group fail at random play dance with his mistakes even though they are the literal definition of knife-like dancing in Kpop. He even won 'Why can't you dance to your own dance' award of Weekly Idol for many years consecutively.
In that episode their managers got punished for their mistakes so they deliberately made more mistakes for fun. But the MCs gave them one last chance to do it properly and if they succeed the manager would pay with the company card for their wishes but the manager said they can't succeed; so they were like we aren't going for fun this time, we'll really do it.I think that's the only time they actually properly danced in the show in 7 years.That's why every one is shocked.
Every one(Mcs,managers,producers and staff) is also amazed because they were the first and only group to sing & rap live during 2X dancing.
Gfriend was the first one i watched and they are the queens of this challenge 💖

Seventeen was definitely my favorite, omfg how in the world did they do all those hand movment so insync yet 2x faster I couldn't hardly keep up watching.
Seventeen was so damn fireeeee here imagine they are so many but all of them managed to finish it in full colorz!
Infinite, the first group, and Shinee are the two groups (and BoA) that basically are the reason why kpop has such great and is famous for choreographies - kpop always had choreographies but it wasn't as intricate or sharp until they really stepped up the game. Infinite got famous and is known as the group with 'knifelike' choreography.
All the groups in this video are basically recognized as the best dancing male groups in kpop (with maybe a few new 4gen groups that could be added and an odd 2nd gen group like Vixx).
the most satisfying to watch is Seventeen's don't wanna cry 2x speed... the synchronization is so amazing.

The first (and best) 2x speed was Super Junior, because 1) Haechel only comes in for the last 10 seconds of each dance and 2) epic fail of a second song. Completely adorable and totally relatable for someone middle-aged like myself. Thanks for having fun with this video. Hope it lifted your spirits a bit.

That video of Infinite, that entire Weekly Idol episode is what made me a KPOP stan. I had only seen Blackpink before and I watched them on the show and UA-cam randomly played them next, that exact episode in English. After the episode I looked up all their songs as well as the girl guest MC, Hani’s group EXID.
