Don't Wanna Cry is such a great choreography. It nails emotion while also showing unique moves and formations. I've noticed noticed it's quite hard to execute well and get the textures right because nearly all of the covers I've seen have gone either too hard or too soft/elegant.
There's definitely a lot to think about when attempting the dance, from details to energy-control to body-control with all the level changes and formation changes. It's tough to find the balance unless you have a lot of experience!
I'm exhausted just of watching them 🤣. The amount of the energy they have and commitment of doing it perfectly and break down the energy just at the end of the coreo... So proud 😊😁. Also they finish their moves ...that soo difficult and Minghao superb intelligent he knew that he didn't have time to do the flip so he changed it 😂. Omg 😸
Don't wanna cry --> Without you --> Clap, the choreography of these three songs are continuous!! It's very satisfied to see all of three performance at a once!
As a moncarat, this is that one song that seal the deal with me with Seventeen. Power dance synchronization *chefs' kiss*. And see, whenever I watch a 2x speed dance challenge from Seventeen, I keep remembering Infinite with this challenge. Both of them always give their all to it like ugh
the WAYYYY they’ve worked so hard on their precision and speed that they can now let their strength just SING 😻 they can let the emotions and artistic expression just permeate their every action GODDD
You know what I love with dance reactions is that as a fan I know how amazing and breathless every SVT choreo and songs are but to be able to understand the technicalities they've gone through to portray this masterpiece is another level of fulfillment 🥺😊💕 that's why as much as I have watched a loooooot of reactions there's always something new to explore from the eyes of legit dancers themselves 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 KUDOS to this reaction 💯 and I'm subscribing because this is legit content 🤩🤩🤩
same here. i love reactors who know their shit for real and not just hyping the music and visuals. whether its the dance, the music, the vocal technique, the rapping, the videography etc,, I just love reactors who have those qualties
2:03 "Very seventeen, right here" was this intentionally done to mimic their signature "seventeen right here" in their songs HAHA also I guess the reason why you found yourself noticing Jun in the first chorus was the reason you yourself pointed out afterwards -- it was his line at that part and his moves were ever-so-slightly different from the rest!! You can see that his elbow lowers at a different angle and lowers faster than everyone else. But bc it's such a subtle thing, viewers' attention just naturally get drawn to him and still think everyone is 100% in sync!! This song was my very first comeback w svt so it holds a special place in my heart~ Rly one of my fave kpop choreos till today (also don't apologise for longer videos man!! we love them)
whoa... i’ve always loved the part where they are slowly swaying at an angle to the floor, feet planted, all while doing quick choreo with their upper body... when you explained it as like a POLYRHYTHM...! dang, it clicked! as someone who “gets” music and theory, but is so far removed from body intelligence, this really helped me understand in a new way. thank you! i’m excited lol
Yk I just realized this when watching your video. Like this is like a heartbreaking song right, like I can't one piece without you kinda thing. And in a way it's like the five stages of grief-ish? The dance at the start is like sharp and kind of collected (they sort of still get their shit together), then you get to the middle where they intertwined (first as 3 and then as 5) Hoshi said he intend it to show the complicated feelings in the situation, and its also like feeling all over the place inside and being confused, then the breathing part is like slowly coming to the acceptance part, the lyrics here also said (I don't miss you, I miss you- this is the mingyu wonwoo part, they're saying the opposite of each other) abt how they're like refusing to come to terms and their words dont match with their thoughts, like tryna make sense (cause like some people just step back and stop to contemplate), then the final out is like the last outburst(?) before closing in with the resignation. Since the song connects to Without You (also in terms of dance cause Without You starts with the arm over eyes pose), it's like connecting in storyline cause that song is about how the person feels after the special person left for a while already and they decided to try and move on, go ahead 'without you'. It's also a calmer song like an "alright. It hurts, it's confusing, but moving on is best" kind of vibe
oh my goodness i am so hype watching this (only at 09:26 so far but) this is a godsend for someone like me who watches seventeens choreos and performances and FEELS something and can see that there is something so special and artistic about their choices, but doesn’t have the understanding to put it into words...!
Thank you for your reaction! It's really interesting to hear your perspective as a dancer to their choreo. They didn't lie when they said "SVT performance kings"! I would love to see your reaction to more of Seventeen!
I know that you can risk copyright strikes but I really hope you react to more 2X dances! GFriend invented the genre and even did an incredible 2X random play dance!
just like how infinit and shinee changed the view of the choreos i personally think shinee infinit and svt made a big impact when it comes to kpop dances and choreos
Fun fact: did you know that we're suppose to blend those Starbucks Fraps with ice to make a Frappuccino? I also love Seventeen and our Queen Don't Wanna Cry too but the Starbucks thing came to mind watching you drink it 😅

I love this song. They did a part switch version and it is funny.
Yess!
Their part switches are always the funniest
They've done 3 rounds i think, of random play dance before they perform the 2x speed dance, so you can really notice some of them tired or sweating.
Damnnn 🤯🤯 props to them!
