Very good video!
Thank you so much for the kind comment! I'm glad to have the support! Happy Gardening!
Thank you so much. I was wondering why im not getting fruit. Im in zone 6b. It doesn’t say anywhere that its a southern plum. So i guess ill be replacing it with another plum tree. I have the Au rosa plum tree too.
Yeah, not great outside of the south.
Do you know any good variety plums to grow in zone 6b?
Sure! In Zone 6b, you might consider growing plum varieties such as Methley, Santa Rosa, or Stanley. These varieties are known for their adaptability to a range of climates and produce delicious fruit. Be sure to check with local nurseries or agricultural extension offices for recommendations specific to your area’s conditions.
Do you have your fruit trees planted 4ft apart? I'm looking to do this with my trees.
More like six feet or so apart. Doing this will require pruning to maintain tree size.
@PlantFanatics thank you for responding to an older video! Great thanks! I'm in the process of creating a food forest on the side of my house. I'm about to plant my AU Rosa Plum near my redhaven peach tree. I plan on keeping them pretty small.
