The thing about electrifying reload that makes me almost exclusively use it is 1: It makes the GK2 infinitely better at crowd control while giving it phenomenal ammo economy 2: (regarding single target damage) the broomstick is right there.
If you only care about sustained dps try 3-2-2-1-2 with compact ammo oc. This gives a nice recoil bonus but the real kicker is the +5 mag size. This is also the maximum ammo gk2 build with 45 mag size and 480 capacity for a total of 525 ammo. The reason we only take one rof mod is to have a rof of exactly 10, meaning our clip of 45 will give us almost exactly 4.5 seconds of sustained fire depending on tick rates. +20% wp damage helps because we don't have another source of extra damage, and T1C is better not only for the easy uptime:mag size ratio of *not* taking T1B, but also because fast reloads on a clip this large means only 1.3 seconds of downtime between 4.5 second bursts. This means we can spend a full 8.7 seconds of every 10 seconds shooting, instead of only 8.18 seconds of every 10 seconds with T1B. This translates to roughly 5.2% more sustained dps (to say absolutely nothing of burst damage or what is more effective).

I'm just really happy to see that the weapon has distinct niches over the other scout primaries AND it can slot into multiple different playstyles and functions. The thumbnail of your old GK2 video seems like distant memory now. And the scouts other shitty OCs got buffed too! I never thought I would ever use Gas Recycling or Supercooling Chamber but they actually seem like they each have a niche now.
I was considering reading through the changelog but I knew you would do it for me and explain everything better. Burning nightmare is insane on driller bunker builds for SSTE or custom difficulty. Grab a groundcover-oriented sludge pump and make a bunker. Shoot some goo and then just fire your charged shot down the kill-hallway, it ignites all the sludge right away and does good damage to all the bugs. A fully sludged/ignited hallway passively kills praetorians. If you want to use bullets of mercy now, use the boltshark with taser bolts, special ammo, special duration, and specialist. Shoot tanky targets to essentially pause them, then go around and 1 mag all of them (after taser chip). This thing absolutely fucks oppressors and bulks if you toss an IFG too.
we definetly need more people like you in out community, it's great to have someone who actually teaches stuff istead of showcasing his opinions without a math behind it, great job! Edit: A question mark crossed my brain right after commenting: what would be the most efficient epc burning nightmare build (crowdclear role) right now considering the fire dot? i personally don't have the proper setting to test it out and im sure you know it already!
Im actually using the tier 5 stun mod with the stability sometimes to try and see if it's decent or not, it actually feels good when you want to force a mob to remain in place in order to maximise the weakpoint bonus. But true having the speed is ALSO a very good choice. Tho 50% stun can't be ignored it's pretty massive.

You're definitely my favorite DRG analysis youtuber! Waiting for that Hurricane Video!
I love shredding crowds with gas recycling zhukovs and IFG grenades, nice to know it got even better. Gotta try bullets of mercy with new boomerang.
Fantastic summary, really looking forward to trying out the new GK2 changes!
Nice video as always. I learn a lot by watching your videos
Dude, I love watching youre videos, thank you!
Awesome stuff, thanks for the video man.
Foregone Destruction on background, gooooood!
Excellent data presentation and the Deus Ex bgm rocks!
Just consistent reliable detailed information, they ought to have you narrate the miner's manual. 😂 👍🏻
Excellent. I have been looking forward to this.
Now i can't stop imagining a count doku holding a GK2.
New gk2 is freakin amazing. Been playing scout so much since changes
thank you so much for these videos, they are really fun to watch
Driller is my favorite and that pic in game reminds me of Dr Nefario from the Despicable Me movies. Always gets a chuckle out of me lol.
Dude unreal tournament has some amazing music in it I’m glad it’s in
Are there going to be more weapon breakdowns? I really like those, they’re comfort viewing.
Thanks for this extensive video. You provide a lot of value to this community with your in depth videos.
My feeling when I'm already a GK2 AISE using Scout more than anything else I play, prior to Season 3
Feels good to be on top
Nice music. Unreal Tournament was my jam as a kid
Lazy broke me down in the first gk2 video
Builds you up in this video👍
yooo big buffs to my fav scout weapon and overclock! love to see it
17:08 the driller is truly a menace to his own team. that is very good self damage for blowing everything up in a radius around you
Thanks for the great breakdown on everything!
Please do a video on BRT7 Burst Fire Gun. I've always loved this weapon, but for the love of me can't figure out how it functions on a clinical level. Seeing you're basically a DRG MD at this point, I'd love to see your breakdown of mentioned pistol.
Thank fuck the GK2 got buffed, tired of using Hipster exclusively. But as the update dropped, I unlocked that bouncy plasma rifle O/C. Good to have some variety for the scout now.
The jungle breakbeat kept me watching this video, bigup
Great stuff, good to see the GK2 finally be on equal footing. With this video out of the way, I assume you're gonna do a video discussing all of the new grenades?
hipster is still prob better all around
@@aquapotato.. not much tbh.
The ammo economy is on the bottom, GK AISE and BOM now are on a higher end against a Hipster M1K.
M1K hipster is either use a damn Macro to hit the spam fire spot or suffer the woes of carpal tunnel issues (otherwise it's lost DPS).
GK2 with OCs now hit a good spot as most of them deliver some quality now and even have roles with conpetitive edge against other equivalents (Hipster for example) in a Scout's arsenal.
@@andrehashimoto8056 yeah for single target damage gk2 is ofc better now but its still WAY WAY worse in crowd control and for HVT i still gota give it to the m1000
This is what I've been waiting for BABYYYYYY
Amazing video explaining everything. Thank you
my favorite overclock supercooling chamber gets a HUGE buff? it's a gud day
The electrifying reload looks interesting, gonna try it out
Its nice to see you again king,Very nice video.take care and have a great day!
immaculate choice of music
the coilgun triple tech damage reduction bug got fixed too.
the theorycrafting video i was expecting
Fast on the upload, Faster on the trigger, Fastest TTK in the west Hoxxes quadrant.
Thanks for the changes breakdown
Ohh yeah baby lets shake our pickaxes once more
The long-awaited GK2 buff update!
FINALLY, been wanting to use an automatic forever now as scout
game mechanics aside, i really wanted to thank you for those 2 songs in the background :') made me srsly happy to hear those and have that feeling of nostalgia.....things like this sets appart the casual content creator from the ones who put their heart into it, at least in my opinion.....
.....oh and also the deep dive into the intricacies of DRG game mechanics ofc, those too ^^'
This was really good and informative, also nice music.
