So in my pursuit of trying to get here by myself I've stumbled on miquela, drained/fllooded an entire area and beat a totally different boss and still haven't even got too where i wanted to make my way to some dude on a horse lol.
difficulty debate aside, i think this dlc is very frustrating simply because of how large and empty the map is, its so easy to miss an entrance like this.exploration in general is just not fun also because half the items they give you are worthless endgame
True words, I am a bit disappointed as well. I love exploring, but how are we supposed to find things like the back gate, if it's completely hidden without any clues.
@wurzelbert84wucher5 use your eyes? When you're exploring the loft you can clearly see the ledge you need and it's not like it's far enough. They hid harder to find paths in their previous games. Bro would not survive DS1
@@osogof115 i have beat every souls game, demon souls and ds1 are my favorites in fact, all the hidden areas worked in those games because everything was more confined and linear but once you have this big ass empty open world its easy to miss stuff. i did look down that hole multiple times but maybe my small screen on steam deck made me miss the entrance.
@@prosperaffect so you're blaming the game being badly designed on the fact you're playing on a tiny screen? The area is not hidden at all. Just because you're playing on a screen slightly smaller than a tablet and therefore making things hard to see isn't the game's fault, it's yours. If you can't see that gigantic ledge then you need to either get better glasses or get a bigger screen.
@@prosperaffect you would 100% have the same issue if you tried going back to find some of the secret areas in Bloodborne or the Souls games without knowing where they were or having a guide. It's secret for a reason. It's not supposed to be right in front of you.

I did it like 5 times in a row without ever falling.
You need a light load for it to be easy
You gotta sprint into the jump I have 2 ultra greatswords and heavy armor and did it first try you just gotta have momentum
