- The all red team of equipment at the Big Guns has been infiltrated by Germany's' Claas Lexion 8700 combine. The outgoing Case IH 9250 Axial Flow combine has been replaced by a Claas 8700. When your cash cropping over 7,000 acres, speed and efficiency is everything and this Claas combine delivers that. Operating at an increased harvesting speed at lower power setting, a much larger hopper capacity reducing grain cart wait times and consuming a lot less fuel makes this an attractive addition to the fleet. Along side the Claas is a Case IH 8250 Axial Flow combine with a 12 row corn head. Tractors and grain carts are 2 Case Steiger 420's and two Brent 2596 2,500 bu. grain carts. Several Load King "B" trains were delivering back to the grain elevators.
Das komplett rote Ausrüstungsteam der Big Guns wurde vom deutschen Mähdrescher Claas Lexion 8700 infiltriert. Der bisherige Axial-Flow-Mähdrescher Case IH 9250 wurde durch einen Claas 8700 ersetzt. Wenn Sie mehr als 7.000 Hektar anbauen, sind Geschwindigkeit und Effizienz alles, und dieser Claas-Mähdrescher bietet genau das. How the time spent unloading is due to hopper size and how much it is due t9 a 12 row head versus a 16 row head
True as well.... the grain carts were gone off the field to unload and the Class did not have to stop and await their return because of the larger hopper capacity at 510bu.
How fast was the Claas moving it sure looked like it was ripping across the field, not that the IH was a dog just seemed faster
I did not record the combine speed but Chris, the operator said the Claas 8700 would work faster using less power and a lot less fuel than the Case IH 9250
