Very rare, but I guess it could happen something to think about if it’s another brand or aftermarket parts
That’s a good tip Anthony. I wish you told us earlier. Why did you wait so long? Lol. After I replace the worn bushes on my rack i made the mistake of torquing up the nuts on the underside as they were easier to get to with a torque wrench. The nuts are serrated so the bolts don’t get to torque this way. I ended up with a wandering steering wheel for a couple of weeks until the I worked out the you have to turn the bolts at the top to get the torqued. It is impossible to get a torque wrench in there so good and tight with a long breaker is the right spec. Thanks!
Mines 15 years old and in beautiful condition
I’ve had an annoying “play” in the steering, more noticeable on the highway and it’s definitely not front wheel bearings.
