Starting capital is 97,000 USD assuming it is with a regular US brokerage , 4 times leverage gives you a buying power of 388,000 USD .. To achieve 58,000 USD returns in 14 weeks you need to make close to 900 USD per day on average . With this kind of buying power, with the proper risk management in place and with good experience in trading the markets , this goal is very achievable ! Good job to Johnny !
The leverage in options in not cash. It's implicid. Your comment looks like you didn't even see the video bro. The average position take 20 days so they don't day trade.
Even though i can't afford ITPM mentorship, listening to Anton provides so much knowledge on not just trading itself but attitude towards trading and discipline. Hopefully i'll make enough money from retail trading to afford the mentorship so i can level up.
I used to think it was just about buying stocks, but I didn’t realize there are strategies for managing risk and actually making a profit. Now I feel kinda stuck since I’m not seeing any profits in my portfolio. Do you have any recommendations on what I should consider? I’d really appreciate it..
Always very informative sessions. 👍 My win rate in past one year with Options trading is 84%. But unfortunately some losses were bigger than the wins, so over all only 110% YTD of my $100k account. I wish I can reduce the losses $ amount. About the stocks, it's 90/10% so far YTD. Thank to a tip from your channel (have some long and some shorts too). Shorts always help in down market, like last week.
Not really, if you pay attention to the structures, they are risking about 7-10% of capital per structure, but banking the credits each expiry which pays for loosing positions and with a solid fundamental process they are generating high probability trade ideas, with good fundamentals. leverage is about 3-4x if you think average underlying volatility per year is about 25% to 30% and they make say 90% a year with the options leverage.
Yeah, it's nice returns and some big wins. To your point, yeah big risk, looks like he's doing 6-8% of his account per trade. I'm wondering what his drawdown in the unrealized column looks like over time being long all that premium?
Options do indeed offer a lot of leverage but are less risky than people think if used the right way (i.e. at least 2-3 months of time and using a short leg to mitigate time decay). Whilst they have shelf life before becoming worthless, the biggest benefit is that the downside is known and limited, whereas a stock can theoretically gap down to zero overnight.

They trade on a longer horizon, not daily.

What does raising credit refer to? Is it talking about selling options and collecting premium?
Yes - usually selling a shorter dated option for every 2+ long longer-dated options as part of a calendar ratio spread, in order to reduce time decay
I missed the beginning of the podcast. Eill relisten on replay.

Not even top guys are sitting at 80% win rate but sounds like your R score is hurting.
In trading your only as good as your ideas sometimes you have good one sometimes you have bad ones but that the main take away nothing else matters
Dieter the Doubler, Sean the Sharpshooter, Johnny Cash... these are your BOYZ! :)
Really amazing returns. A lot of this is the huge leverage and risk of options right?

No. They're hedging most positions.
