      @Rifle Eyez Well said. These days you have retail products like fractional shares, ETFs, etc. You need to factor in things like commissions and spreads, but it can be done with a solid strategy.

    • @azursmile
      @azursmile 3 роки тому +2

      @Rifle Eyez I guess it comes down to size and consistency of return you want. I expect it's possible to apply strong fundamentals against a diversified portfolio with a small amount, assuming you can cover your fixed cost like broker fees; however, you're not going to generate much of a return and it'll be more of a side hobby.

    • @codesymphony

      @Rifle Eyez he didn't say you're going to be profitable just by having 15k he said you need it to diversify. wtf does going all in on meme stocks have to do with this question, what are you even going on about lmao

      even making 1 pound a trade is better for learning than paper trading.

      Do watch his "10 secrets to achieve financial success" video if you haven't. That video has a sequel called "The 5 Principles Behind the 10 Secrets" which imo is even better. The content is so essential for trading that if you don't know those basic things, you are much better off putting your money in gold or in bitcoin or in a index fund. Not using this kind of knowledge means you are the fish that feeds off Wall Street and the likes of it.

    Hey Anton and Anthony, appreciate the Q&A video, thank you. Quick question, does the PTM training involve training on how to
    1 - Pick and choose individual stocks (not just identifying sectors)
    2 - Go into the balance sheets of potential stocks and asses things such as debt, cash, etc?
    Thanks!

    Hi InstituteofTrading, how could I get the chance to have a mentor, which course should I join first here? I have been a retail trader for two years.

    thank you for this!! you've answered part of my question!! however, Ackman is being bullish on 2 particular stocks... how do you feel about those as an initial investment ?

    • @TheFeintOfHearts
      @TheFeintOfHearts 4 роки тому +9

      The answer is "who cares?" You're not Bill Ackman. You don't have his capital, you don't have his constraints, and you're not beholden to his investors. Do your own work and find companies that YOU want to put capital towards. The sooner you get away from "feeling about" other peoples' investments, the better off you'll be.

      Try some of the institute courses. If you live somewhere in the Western world and have a decent income putting a couple thousand bucks is nothing plus the option to trade institute money. Be advised though that you need to be really good for that. In another video there was a trader {a guy from UK I think} who had made like 60%+ profit for about 6-7-8 months of trading and Anton offered him to trade institute's money.

      He answers this in the video. The two main reasons are:
      1) Because that's where the trading opportunities have been lately on a volatility basis. (2020 was obviously an outlier with high volatility year-round, but remember this was recorded in April 2020)
      2) Because you get a good balance learning the skillsets of both trading and investing, and from there you're able to shorten or extend your time horizon if you so choose
