I found this guy today and i’m waching seminars and interviews with Anton for 5 hours. I ‘m intrested to learn trading and he is a very inteligent person.
Not gonna lie, I saw Anton on UA-cam before even embarking on my finance/entrepreneurial journey and even though I, myself never became a trader I still come back to his video because of his personality and NO-BS worldview which is filled with real life experience.
Do watch his "10 secrets to achieve financial success" video if you haven't. That video has a sequel called "The 5 Principles Behind the 10 Secrets" which imo is even better. The content is so essential for trading that if you don't know those basic things, you are much better off putting your money in gold or in bitcoin or in a index fund. Not using this kind of knowledge means you are the fish that feeds off Wall Street and the likes of it.

@Rifle Eyez Well said. These days you have retail products like fractional shares, ETFs, etc. You need to factor in things like commissions and spreads, but it can be done with a solid strategy.

I expect it's possible to apply strong fundamentals against a diversified portfolio with a small amount, assuming you can cover your fixed cost like broker fees; however, you're not going to generate much of a return and it'll be more of a side hobby.

This has changed my life. I’ve made 10k go to 85k at peak, and it’s currently sitting at 65k and I’m about to open my third long position to try and do this again somewhat. Im literally new to trading i have $100k liquid to play with and i can already see what the keys are. As Anton said if you cant make $15k before you trade, then you dont have what it takes. Trading is serious business, unfortunately what we see here is a lot of people who think they dont need to work anymore and can stay home making easy money. Anton has said that in previous videos and I hope people understand that fact and start respecting this career.
Having a portfolio of uncorrelated strategies/ideas is the name of the game, it baffles me how so few people in the retail industry talk about it. Anton is spot on about diversfication. Smoothing out your drawdowns is the smart way to go about your business. That and understanding where your risk lies at a fundamental level.

I have been trading for five years, but only the last two years seriously, and I still think risk management is what got me through the years to survive, and make profit. I think you mean investing emotionally and with a disregard to risk. Just don't do it. Although ESG has become quite popular; its often not a good investment for wealth creation.

The answer is "who cares?" You're not Bill Ackman. You don't have his capital, you don't have his constraints, and you're not beholden to his investors. Do your own work and find companies that YOU want to put capital towards. The sooner you get away from "feeling about" other peoples' investments, the better off you'll be.
It depends on what you are looking to get from your investments. If you want growth; historically, the best investment has been and always will be stocks. However, you should always look to mitigate your risk. The best way to do this is by diversification.
Has the location of the liquidity cover historical dataset changed? Cant find it on the stlouisfed website and I cant find it anywhere else either. Currently doing the PFTM vid series.
Great content. One thing I wanted to mention, I have a trading account I started with $2,500 USD, and I was able to pull a consistent profit after a few months experience. It's not enough to live on, but a great place to start, learn and try to grow your portfolio. You make a lot of mistakes when you first start trading, so I am glad to have learned those painful lessons with a small portfolio.
I started with 100 gbp 6 weeks ago and I'm now on 650 was at 800 but done some stupid impulse trades with big lot sizes but luckily I'm taking risk management very seriously, I'm really enjoying it and I'm constantly learning as much as I can, I've been hitting at least a couple of big trends every week especially at London opening, I know it's early days but I can see some good times ahead if I can stay disciplined and stay hungry
Just keep up the consistency. Learning will always cost money so say you lose $100 in some weeks, but overall doing well, that's just the cost of learning. I don't think you should be aiming to live on proceeds of $2500 at the moment. Heck, if you consistently made just $50/week on that amount, you are doing well.
Try some of the institute courses. If you live somewhere in the Western world and have a decent income putting a couple thousand bucks is nothing plus the option to trade institute money. Be advised though that you need to be really good for that. In another video there was a trader {a guy from UK I think} who had made like 60%+ profit for about 6-7-8 months of trading and Anton offered him to trade institute's money.

Good information and advice given, I don't understand it all but will try to now I back at trading after 8 year break on other successful projects .Day trading in UK stocks looks totally different now to when I last traded time to relearn. I don't think you should be aiming to live on proceeds of $2500 at the moment. Heck, if you consistently made just $50/week on that amount, you are doing well.
People think they can make millions trading a $50,000 account or less. Most newbies need a reality check.

Try some of the institute courses. If you live somewhere in the Western world and have a decent income putting a couple thousand bucks is nothing plus the option to trade institute money. Be advised though that you need to be really good for that. In another video there was a trader {a guy from UK I think} who had made like 60%+ profit for about 6-7-8 months of trading and Anton offered him to trade institute's money.

Good information and advice given, I don't understand it all but will try to now I back at trading after 8 year break on other successful projects .Day trading in UK stocks looks totally different now to when I last traded time to relearn.
You cant beat the buzz of trading but dangerous to your wealth if you do not but the time in to learn.
