I had a ‘23 turbo GT delivered in November. I drive it every day. In standard setting it’s quite comfortable and moderately polite. Sport and sport plus are strictly for serious fun. I expected this car to be a fast turbo cayenne when I ordered it. Obviously, no GTs to text drive. I was very wrong. It’s utter madness, crazy motoring joy, and Porsche engineering mysticism. I like that you are open to reviewing this car honestly. I am getting a Ferrari Pursanque next year and British car reviews of luxury SUVs are very bitter from the outset. These coupe SUVs are very abrasive to some car journalists. But I don't think they realise they are not the target buyer being a middle aged guy who likes cars. I totally agree with you. Some of the reviewers are going wild on why brands make these sort of cars. It's irritating. I'd love to have a 911 instead of a Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid, but I'm buying this car to do high speed intercountry cruising throughout the Europe, from Great Britain to Turkey. As an owner of this type vehicle I can tell you that it can be used as a daily driver car. I have owned M5c LCI, M8C, RS4, none of those cars can get close to this one. It is fun to drive, soft suspension, soft steering wheel, comfortable seats ( I only recommend the 18 way adjustable seats - those come with ventilation). Having all wheel steering it is very easy to be used in the city. Alcantara on the steering wheel it is a matter of preference, but you cannot have ot with 18 ways adjustable seats. I dont feel tired after driving it for 4-500km; It is a high performance car; as Jay said, laws of physics still apply. If you want a usable super car, this is it ( in this price range).
Picked up a second hand 2022 and it is a beast. By far the most fun to drive car that I have ever driven, and it does have some utility! Bought it for the wife to replace her 2018 Rover Sport Supercharged and while she loves to drive it, it is a much more masculine car. No sunroof makes it a bit dark inside (Black on black...) especially with the black headliner. Tried to get her car back but it was already sold... Bought her a 23 Defender V8.. she is happy and now I have what I affectionately named the "Beast" as my daily. I equate the driving experience of this car to riding on the back of "Cocaine Bear"..
I know everything is subjective, but... I'm of the opinion that all the generations of Cayenne are hideous, and its GT/coupe derivative is even more pointless than the model upon which it's based. I'm sure it has its fans, but not for me.

Try the Macan GTS. Cheaper and just as much fun. Has also been tinkered with by the race department. Absolutely mad.
Does the 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT have manually operated variable ride height to go off road?
I don't get the point of performance SUVs, so I should hate this, but I don't. The more videos of it I see, the more I like it.
I am not into collector edition cars, really. Which this surely is. Dont see any realistic upside compared to a normal turbo variant.
The wheels, discs and calipers are lit.
The rest......
I want this exact spec
I'm deeply troubled by how much I like these newer Cayennes and Panameras.. playing around on the porsche site configurator I made a Panamera Turbo S Hybrid wagon in green over tan leather and amber wood trim and while yes it does look a bit like a mutated frog from the front and weigh more than the titanic but honestly it gives me the James may tingle .. much to think about 😢
Also theater day i saw a Troc R near my home in Brighton make of that what you will
Seek professional help 🙂
Hate to say it but I really like this…
How in the world does this channel only have 270k subs?
Hey jay 10/10 channel.hoepfully one day you can review a turbo or gts cayenne ❤️
Non hybrid*
Brilliant video 📹. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Great video, love this
This guy is kinda becoming the successor to Top Gear
V8 Macan would be epic... I've been on that bandwagon for years!
Sounds ace . snorting and growling .the size of the front calipers is ludicrous.
So is the curb weight that needs to be stopped 😉
Please loose the mike brewer look for God sake Jimmy LOL , TOP CHANNEL 👏

Agree, why does Porsche insist on pulling punches on the Macan? What are they protecting?
Cracking review that car just needs a touch of colour ....inside
The Cayenne is the one and Only SUV that works better and should be only offered as a coupé
Imagine this one lifted 2 feet, monster wheels, on safari in Kenya
Hey James, I really think you should refer to Volkswagen Audi Group as vaj.
I love your witty energetic delivery. On the other hand I can’t stand Doug Demuro’s caustic energetic delivery.
Great review! What year is the car?
2022
I know everything is subjective, but... I'm of the opinion that all the generations of Cayenne are hideous, and its GT/coupe derivative is even more pointless than the model upon which it's based. I'm sure it has its fans, but not for me.
Gle 63amg coupe or a rsq8 for me
I have always thought that "Porsch" was short for/an abbreviation of Porsche, until recently.
A Panamera Turbo GT would be awesome.
