As he was at Luigi’s gravestone a toad gave him a letter from the princess. Upon opening it read out “Please come to the castle”. The writing seemed rushed like the princess was in danger. Not wanting to loose another friend, Mario sprinted towards the castle only to find it empty with a door sealed by dark magic. The only way to open the doors were to harness the power of light. He needed stars and he knew just where to get them. Mario collected every star he could find and opened the door. Inside was a painting of the princess. As he stepped closer his vision started to blur. He was low on energy. As he was about to collapse on the floor a voice spoke out to him. “Don’t give up!” Filled with DETERMINATION, he jumped into the painting. Inside was a hellish obstacle course suspended by dark magic. He traversed across the land and jumped into a warp pipe leading to an empty platform in the abyss. He then saw him. Bowser. He would avenge Luigi’s death. As they fought, each taking blows, the platform got smaller and smaller. After one final throw, Mario flung Bowser away into the abyss defeating him. This pattern continued until… G A M E O V E R No. He couldn’t give up now. Mario grasped his DETERMINATION…and won. As Mario flung Bowser away one final time, cheers could be heard from the distance as the final star appeared. A green star. As Mario touched the star a bright light blinded him. Sometime later Mario woke up in his bed with Luigi by his side. His soul could now be at peace knowing that his brother was free from Bowser. With one final hug coming both ends, their souls risen up to heaven reunited, Mario’s DETERMINATION replaced with… Love
