I remember being sooooo confused, scared and upset cleaning off the statue in Zora’s domain so when I saw “Mipha’s Court” spear on screen and saw the statue I was soooooo happy
Me, whose only Zelda I've played besides ToTK was Twilight Princess and never really cared about it that much since I'm more Sony-leaning anyway: *uncontrollable poker face*
the people that claim the music is "gone" from Zelda need to take a second to take off their nostalgia glasses and properly sit down and listen to the music. Yes, it's different, doesn't mean it's gone
The Construct Factory was one that truly made me stop and just listen. I was so used to the Depths being so empty, so to hear something so pretty down there was breathtaking.
This Video made me realise how little attention I pay to the really magnificent soundtrack. The only one I really noticed, was the heart container sound when it floats down to you after defeating a boss.
Honestly, the Light Dragon theme is so great because the other dragon theme already sounded sad. They both give off a sense of longing. So finding out what what that longing is, plus the distortion in the lgiht dragon theme made me cry so damn hard. These grand beasts are the reminants of a great civilization, yet they can't even understand that.
The first time i met them was in the korok forest depths, but after that i kinda annihilated all the ones i found without letting a single one alive@@BetoPerez999
Mipha's Court reminds me of how much Sidon loved his dear sister and looked up to her when he was small. Meeting Link again and naming him hiw best friend as they fought together just really felt like he was able to reconnect with his sister again since Link lived in a time when he knew Mipha as well.
i don't think i'm ever going to stop loving the soundtrack for tears of the kingdom, or the game itself. ik it wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but the soundtrack is just something else entirely the almost constant motifs of zelda's lullaby throughout the game, references to past games in the soundtrack (especially in the temples, you can hear the themes for the corresponding divine beasts), everything about it. i'm always finding different details each time i listen to any of the songs and i'm honestly living for that
4:09 the crying right as Revali's theme kicks in is so real 4:46 LMFAO THE FRANCE FLAG IS CRAZY 9:44 the ones where the clips sync to the music like that are the best 12:07 you can't just use this clip man my heart can't take this--
Imma be honest, I was not expecting to be so emotional about the epilogue part showing the entire legacy that led up to this part. God I'm so glad I got to experience at least a bit of this franchise!!!
Non Debatable Top 5: 1. Demon Dragon (The part where the blood moon rises is just wow) 2. Imprisoning War (The moment with the rauru and main theme combination was one of the best in the game) 3. Main Theme (Gotta be on there) 4. Epilogue (Nostalgic) 5. Sidon (Just so good. Reminds me of BOTW in the best way possible) All in all best soundtrack in any Zelda game besides Skyward Swords imo edit: Kinda forgot colgera but I dont think I would rate it higher than sidon (havent played WW yet sadly) Also im not cunting Trailer 3 (would probably be first because this trailer hyped me like nothing has ever before)
My ex-friend played TotK before BotW, and complained hard about the learning curve (I kept telling her that it wouldn't be as bad if she'd just played BotW first), she was super proud of herself when she beat a set of Gloom Hands for the first time. The scream I heard when she got yeeted into a second bossfight was absolutely hilarious.
man, that final montage you put together for the epilogue... i didn't anticipate that I was going to get teared up from the epicness. what a vid. what a stud of a soundtrack
Mipha's Court is a masterfully written piece of bgm. It really feels like old grief. So much else about totk's score is incredible but I think that's a little musical moment that deserves more attention
100% agree, TotK has one of the best soundtracks of any game I've ever played, easy the best in the whole series for me personally. The only other OST that comes close in my opinion is the Ori and the Will of the Wisps soundtrack.
The story is so ass and there is zero continuity from botw which is so disappointing. But on basically every other metric, it's one of the best games ive ever played. Mechanically it's so creative and deep, there is so much content, the OST is breathtaking, there is so much to explore, the game is stunning...I love this game a lot
I listen to BOTW / TOTK music multiple hours a day along with those from older titles. I only use them for background music while I do stuff, but my god, without those musics my day would be so boring.
I thought this channel was just a dream!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so happy that a new video was made, it’s made me realize reality again !!!!!!! Thanks Pixelguy9!!!!!!!!
The colgera boss song makes me think of that one Naruto movie I’ve seen, something of Galel, or whatever; and the zora waterworks makes me think of Ferngully and the sounds of the rainforest.
the first time i heard Colgera's theme i cried because of the nostalgia from playing Wind Waker with my best friend then i got to Mipha's Court and SOBBED hearing her theme play at her statue on top of the mountain
I got to the Mipha court one and my sister just stopped what she was doing and was like "ooooohhh"

Honestly WW was hardly my first. ALTTP was. But goddamn between it and BoTW as I fell in love with the Rito? Same
Oh man the overwhelming emotion sent me through a Rollercoaster.
the people that claim the music is "gone" from Zelda need to take a second to take off their nostalgia glasses and properly sit down and listen to the music. Yes, it's different, doesn't mean it's gone
There isn't a single Zelda game with a bad OST, and I don't think that statement should be controversial in the slightest.

Dragon head Island is an absolute banger. I could listen to it for days.
As in the part in colgera battle in its 3rd phase?
Frozen Rito village is underrated.. the actual theme behind extremely somber instrumentals feels so ominous

4:21 COLGERA BATTLE
In my opinion second best boss music in Tears of the Kingdom
1st is Master kohga

The “Final Arc” from when you drop into hyrule castle chasm to when you save zelda i swear has the best buildup music and atmosphere i have ever seen.
When I got to demon Dragon in game i honestly had tears welling up. I just sat there for a moment thinking what an incredible game I was playing.
