WM 25 Shawn vs Taker is the greatest match period of all time in my eyes. I remember buying the WM 25 dvd and man that match had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I was 11 at the time. I’ll never forget how that match made me feel when I first saw it.
@J Crash The Hitman is actually a very talented artist. He drew a lot of great pictures. His favorite was a cartoon of Andre the Giant carrying the entire roster. Actually brought the Giant to tears when it was given to him.

And that gave us some of the greatest calls in wrestling history, from both him _and_ Jerry Lawler. "As God is my witness, _he is broken in half!"_ "That's it, he's dead." "Will somebody _stop the damn match!_ Enough is enough!" You could tell that Jim sincerely meant every word.

The Undertaker Vs Triple H Wrestlemania 28 Hell In A Cell is still to this day the best match I ever watched in my life. I was about 11 years old and I’m 20 now and I still remember the feelings watching that match.
@@andreking2949 I've seen many people calling it the greatest Mania match of all time. Including the guy who posted this comment. It's on top 10 but definitely not one of top 5 Mania matches. I can say 5 HBK mania matches that were better than this. Sure opinion exist. But actually calling it the GOAT WM match is too much
That's still nearly my favourite. It was for a long time. Bret is my wrestling hero. My favourite ever is Taker. It's the persona, the theatre. The incredible toughness of the man. It's been one of my dreams to see his entrance. I'm rather jealous of someone's who's done it or will. Getting back to bret though, you could see how much the performance and the title/ slash potential reward of a match meant to him when you saw him. I thought that resonated through the tv. He could create a good to very good promo. Bret however excelled massively in the ring. Even now you could look back and I think you'd see that he never looked uncomfortable during a match, always understood what actions were required at what time. A master craftsmen of performance and audience engagement I feel. In terms of the match itself maybe it is taker v michaels wm 25. In terms of the whole package relating to an individual it's taker for me. The gimmick is incredible, his commitment is incredible, his aura and lastly his performance levels over a ridiculous amount of time. Just unparalleled to me for the reasons I've just stated. Mania this year will be somewhat like from an alternate universe. However I am with trepidation looking forward to it.
Austin/Rock was something else, I remember watching that match on TV live; the crowd was into it from beginning to end. The story that match told, along with the psychology, was unreal. While the heel turn did not suit many well at the time, especially my 10 year old self at the time, it sent shock waves and changed the course of the WWE/F. Yes Vince interfered, but that match was not about the outcome or winning clean, it was about telling a story which meant to open your eyes. As Vince said earlier on the night WM X7, "you want shocking?!, you will get shocking" and boy was Vince right, and that was the point.

Rock Austin at x7 purely because it was the end of the biggest era in wrestling that being the attitude era,, or hbk taker at mania 25 for obvious reasons.
Some of the WM greatest matches which I personally liked are Austin vs Rock WM 17 HBK vs Benoit vs HHH WM 20 HBK vs Kurt angle WM 21 HBK vs John Cena WM 23 HBK vs Undertaker WM 25,26

Bret/Austin all day. The match that pretty much set the ball rolling for the beginning of the Attitude Era. Very few images are more iconic than Austin's bloody face in the Sharpshooter.

Bret Hart vs Owen Hart is arguably the best the best WM. Theres plenty of great matches at mania as well as terrible ones. WM 2000 had 2 of the best matches the triple threat ladder match and probably the most underrated match was benoit vs angle vs jericho
Stone Cold vs The Rock @ Wrestlemania 17 was the absolute pinnacle of WWE. 2 of the biggest stars of all time. ( Shawn and Taker are better wrestlers that's why I used the word star) The buildup to that match, perfect. The match itself was 5-star The climax was a shock that added to the spectacle of it.
Rock Vs Hogan wasn’t a technical masterclass, but I’ve never seen anything like it. That crowd was so wired. They looked like children watching Superman come back to life before their very eyes.
Yeah, Austin vs Bret at WM 13 might actually qualify as a perfect match from beginning to end, the way it's worked, the character flip, and the overall booking of the story which is amazing considering it was basically a last minute sub match at WM 13, the only thing I thought that wouldn't age well was the crowd fighting they did at the beginning because that was a very overused gimmick during the Attitude era But....it still works, really well, and they dont waste a lot of time in the crowd, it just works to add some character to how out of control there rivalry is, when Austin or Bret actually talk about the match or do play by play rewatches of it, you really get a clear idea of how perfect the match really is even in hindsight
My Favorites: Bret vs Austin at 13 Savage vs Flair at 8 Bret vs Piper at 8 Hogan vs Savage at 5 Rock vs Hogan at 18 Savage vs Warrior at 7 Bret vs Shawn at 12 Shawn vs Austin at 14
Agreed with all except for Shawn/Austin at WM 14, the first 5 min are promising until Shawn's back injury starts fucking with him, people mistake a great moment at the end for a great match I think they did well considering their physical conditions at the time, but that match needed to be laid out differently to accommodate their physical handicaps at the time I'm surprised Savage/Steamboat isn't listed nor either of the heralded WM 10 matches
My best Wrestlemania matches: 1. Shawn Michaels v Kurt Angle 2. Shawn Michaels v Undertaker 3. Stone Cold v Rock (17) 4. Bret v Owen 5. Triple H v Undertaker (Hell in a Cell)
If I had to pick just one match, I agree with JR, Steve Austin vs Bret Hart would be my pick, I think the impact that it made on the wrestling business, along with how fantastic the match itself was, it's the perfect match, however, I can certainly see arguments for a lot of other matches, Taker vs Michaels certainly are two of them.
For me my favourite is actually HBK vs Undertaker at WM26 as I actually personally preferred that match, I think it had a much better much more personal story with more at stake and I loved it, it was worthy and well deserved of the Main Event spot that year.
26 was nowhere near 25 lol, 26 was good but 25 was special. The camera man spot was especially amazing and really helped the story of the match to not grow boring because of how long it was. At 26 a lot of people knew it was Shawn's last, so there really wasn't as much suspense nor as many surprises. As they say, the "remake" is never as good. That one was the remake a year later.
@@patchh15 I still personally preferred 26 and yes while it was highly likely that HBK was going to retire and therefore lose you could easily argue that he was very likely to lose at WM25 cos of how invincible the streak was becoming. There match at 26 is probably my all time favourite. I think the buildup was awesome too which helped add to the match in my opinion
I really loved Austin vs Michaels at wm14. Might not be the greatest match but was one of the most important matches ever. Cena vs Rock is also underrated.
Andre vs Hogan at WrestleMania III for me. The buildup and the story leading to that match was believable and felt real. Top it all off with the 93,000+ fans that both men drew, on top of a good story being told in the ring and that match won me over.
The best match at Wrestlemania in my opinion is Michaels vs Taker at WM 25. And I agree with what JR said, a lot of people will disagree with a wrestling opinion, but just because you don’t agree with it, doesn’t mean your stupid or dumb, everyone is allowed to have an opinion and it’s their opinion
I'm a little biased I think Michaels vs Taker at Wrestlemania 26 was better than Mania 25 just cuz I was there in Phoenix, on top of witnessing Michaels very last match before he retired.
It was for me the best match if we talk about wrestlemania classics but Angle Michaels is very close in my opinion. It was a wrestling clinic, their ring IQ is really impressive.
If we are being honest Shawn Michaels is arguably part of the 5 greatest WM matches ever. Hbk v Undertaker WM 25 Hbk v Undertaker WM 26 Hbk v HHH v Benoit WM 20 Hbk v Kurt Angle Hbk v Bret Hart

Austin vs. Hart at WM 13
Hogan vs. Rock at WM 18
HBK vs. Taker at WM25
I really loved Austin vs Michaels at wm14. Might not be the greatest match but was one of the most important matches ever. Cena vs Rock is also underrated.
From wm28 I agree cause twice in a lifetime kinda shot the bed
Andre vs Hogan at WrestleMania III for me. The buildup and the story leading to that match was believable and felt real. Top it all off with the 93,000+ fans that both men drew, on top of a good story being told in the ring and that match won me over.
Title is misleading, the video isn’t about Bret vs Austin
The best match at Wrestlemania in my opinion is Michaels vs Taker at WM 25. And I agree with what JR said, a lot of people will disagree with a wrestling opinion, but just because you don’t agree with it, doesn’t mean your stupid or dumb, everyone is allowed to have an opinion and it’s their opinion
WM 17 TLC match. Edge/Christian vs Hardy's vs Dudley's
Jeffersonk88 Nova2017 that match was sick
Taker vs Micheals wrestlemania 25 was the best match ever.
Taker vs HBK WM25
The undertaker vs Shawn Michaels
WM25
Brock vs angle was imo the best that I have seen
Hulk Hogan Vs Ultimate Warrior WM6 is one of the most underrated matches in Wrestlemania history.
jr is the best💯
Best WrestleMania match is Austin vs hart
Bret hart vs Stone Cold at WrestleMania 13 is the greatest wrestling match in WWE history. Just doesn't get any better than that.
Bret vs Austin or Bret vs Owen are probably the best Mania matches
It's a sad, sad day when JR dies......
Jr is the greattest innoncer ever
The first Rock / Austin title match
Yo, im surprised he mentioned those 3 matches with the rock and stone cold. All 3 were awesome
Watching the thumbnail I expected Bret Hart vs Steve Austin at 13.
Rock V Hollywood Hogan
How to choose the best WM matches:
Step 1: Pick a match with HBK.
Step 2: Be correct.
Hbk v Undertaker WM 25
Hbk v Undertaker WM 26
Hbk v HHH v Benoit WM 20
Hbk v Kurt Angle
Hbk v Bret Hart
Hogan and Andre because it's the most iconic in wrestling history. HBK Vs Taker is my favourite though
Anyone who thinks a match with Shawn Michaels is the best, never saw a Bret Hart match. He was the GOAT of in ring storytelling.
Did you just hear what JR said about opinions? 🤣
