  • This is the story or our luck running out. We learned an important lesson that even when you are cautious, plan and make safe decisions, things can still rapidly change in the backcountry. Luckily, we were with good people came prepared for such a situation. If this has happened to you or you have had a ski injury like this, please drop a comment for motivation!

OOOH what fantastic video. No one ever does a story about luck running out. The chocolate milk bit is the funniest, and that dramatic re-actment ( we are talking oscar) and big shoutout thanks to the Canadian rescue folks, how professional are those people.

All the love man, can’t wait to see you back on that leg getting after it.

Excellent way to keep Canadian/Australian relations on a solid footing.
Accidents can happen anywhere. I was actually in a ski class with two off duty ski patrollers taking the class. I managed to break my shoulder, but at least I had immediate medical assistance on hand.

At some point you just have to accept that a Dumpster Fire is a dumpster fire. 😉
