I was not able to focus properly at the beginning + I was testing a new camera setting, for it was the first time that I decided to actively zoom in during the whole performance, and there was also the disquietude about how the sound will get recorded. BTW there's always the concern that something unexpected might happen that breaks the smoothness of the filming, more so 'cause of standing at the first row. A Galaxy A54 is no professional recording device, after all... And moreover, I had previously forgotten to charge the android to 100% (it was at 40% actually) so that I had to take with me a portable battery charger and connect it to the android while carrying it tucked into my sleeve. There was plenty to worry about that drove my attention away in the beginning, really...
@@Nedmarno worries. I appreciate what you were able to record. It was awesome! I’m just a huge fan of lead guitar solos but it’s not a problem. You did an awesome job with the other bands as well. I hadn’t heard of this band before and am now a huge fan so thanks for introducing them to me.
@keni203 Oh well, my pleasure. I am a fan of solos, too, BTW. I always make a separate time stamp for them after having done the whole tracklist. The Serenity recording went way smoother, for I saw that I would have enough battery charge to record the whole, so I succeeded in making a couple of awesome guitar zoom-ins. The Delain recording also has an incredibly awesome part with a guitar play, as well as the Tulip Live vid, with some stellar moments at minute 29.
Great Band and great show, they deserve more recognition!
Great band! Thanks for capturing but Ned why do you skip the guitarist during his solos? lol
